The hand of the disciple stopped in mid-air along with the whip when he heard the sudden yell. Everybody turned towards the source of sound. Due to Jiang Chen moving too fast, the others could only see the afterimage of a man flashing by. In the next moment, Jiang Chen appeared in front of the disciple who was holding the whip.

“Little Chen.”

Han Yan exclaimed when he saw Jiang Chen. His despairing eyes immediately lit up with hope and joy that it made him forgot about his injuries, including the insult and tortures that he had experienced, it was as if seeing Jiang Chen was the happiest thing in this world.

The man who was called Senior Brother Liu already prepared his long whip, however, his target wasn’t Han Yan this time. He was aiming at Jiang Chen. Han Yan’s eyes sparkled when he saw this. It relieved his worries when he sensed Jiang Chen’s cultivation base.

Jiang Chen exerted strength in his hand. Senior Brother Liu couldn’t hold it anymore, and the long whip was seized away from him. Then, he waved the whip into a snake-like circle and curled it around Senior Brother Liu’s neck, then pulled the man towards him.

The saw-tooth on the long whip went deep into Senior Brother Liu’s flesh, and blood was trickling out. A surge of powerful energy rushed out of his body, trying to deflect the whip off, only to find it useless.

At this time, he was feeling really scared. It was rare for someone to be this scared; he could feel the threat of death.

“Bastard, you dare to harm me?” Senior Brother Liu scolded.

Upon seeing what had happened, the two disciples who were walking at the front quickly came to their comrade’s aid. The leader was a late Earth Immortal expert.
