Liang Mumu and Lin Jiage were rather familiar with one another. As soon as Lin Jiage stepped into the elevator, Liang Mumu greeted him, ”Brother Jia, what a coincidence meeting you here!”

Lin Jiage glanced at Liang Mumu and replied with an ”Mm” before falling silent.

The elevator was quiet for a moment. Noticing that Lin Jiage and Shi Yao hadn't spoken to each other, Liang Mumu spoke once more, her voice innocently tinged with bewilderment, ”Brother Jia, Yaoyao—aren't you going to say hello to each other?”

Liang Mumu's words caused Lin Jiage to frown as he turned to look at Shi Yao.

His eyes were indifferent, devoid of any particular emotion.

But before she could find her voice, Lin Jiage had already turned to Liang Mumu and asked, ”And she is?”

In contrast to the others' shock, Lin Jiage was visibly much calmer. He was silent for a moment before he replied with a leisurely ”Oh”. After which, he turned his gaze back to the doors of the elevator as if nothing had happened at all.

Liang Mumu had already introduced Shi Yao as Lin Jiage's fiancée, but Lin Jiage still didn't bother to greet her. The inevitable result—the atmosphere in the elevator turned slightly heavy.
