Chapter 1 (2/2)
“Mom, it doesn’t look good. My head hurts!” Sue definitely did it on purpose!
Since Shelley loved acting, if she didn’t play along, she would be wasting Shelley’s hypocritical concern.
“Since the patient isn’t feeling well, then don’t draw blood for the time being!” The nurse at the side added when she saw this.
Oh, my God! This nurse was too smart.
“Nurse!” Seeing that the nurse was blabbering, Shelley looked at the nurse coldly. Then, when she looked at Sue, her face was full of smiles as if she had changed her face.
“Sue, you know that you are the person that Mom loves the most in her life. When I saw that you got into a car accident, I felt pain in my heart! But you also know that your poor sister is too weak. If… If you don’t give her the blood transfusion, she will… she will…”
Shelley sobbed as she spoke. This was the strategy that she was most proud of. Every time she said this, Sue would be completely helpless.
“Sue, if Lily dies, how lonely will you be in the future? If anything happens to you, there won’t even be anyone to discuss it with! So for Lily’s and your sake, how about getting the doctor to draw another 400 milliliters of blood?”
After saying that, Shelley looked at Sue with a pleading expression. Her expression was extremely humble.
Even the nurse who objected earlier was a little moved now. She could not help but sigh in her heart, “The hearts of all parents are pitiable!”
“Hehe…”
Meeting Shelley’s expectant gaze, Sue almost clapped her hands in admiration for her.
Shelley wanted the best out of both worlds, there was no such good thing in the world!
Sue sneered, “Mom, you said that I’m the one you love the most. Then I’ve told you just now, my head hurts, it hurts! Excuse me, Miss Nurse, do you think my headache is due to anaemic?
“A person who claims that she loves me the most, but she doesn’t care about my body and insists on taking 400 milliliters of blood. What is your motive? Or your purpose of raising me is to give blood to your own daughter?”
“Oh my God, how can there be such a person in the world?” The nurse was shocked by Sue’s rhythmic words. Even the way she looked at Shelley changed.
“Sue! You…” Shelley did not expect Sue to refute her like this. She was so angry that blood rushed to her head.
Due to the presence of the nurse, Shelley had no choice but to suppress the raging anger in her heart. She continued to coax her, “Sue, how can you think of Mom this way? Do you think Mom is willing to draw your blood? Since your brain is damaged, then rest well and wait for your body to recover.”
