Chapter 041 (1/2)
When the car was parked on the side of the road, lawyer George Norman unfastened his seat belt, looked at the embarrassed niece on the co pilot again, and said with a smile, ”Jennie, what's the matter? Have you known Simon westero before?”
Today, still dressed in a ponytail, Jennifer Leibold shook her head and said, ”really not, uncle. I just, um, I just think he's special.”
George Norman looked at his niece again, laughed and stopped asking, ”maybe I can introduce you to him next year. If it wasn't for Janet Johnston, a new person would be enough to represent the boy. ”
So George Norman got out of the car, went to the villa door and rang the doorbell.
A moment later, a girl with short hair opened the door and looked at the two people outside with some doubts.
George Norman looked at his niece with a smile and then introduced himself: ”Hello, is this Simon westrow's house? I'm George Norman, Simon's lawyer. We have an appointment
”Oh, Hello, Mr. Norman, please come in,” the girl with short hair gave way and explained, ”I just ran out of copy paper. Simon went out to buy it and didn't come back. I'm sorry. And I'm Sandra Bullock, Simon's friend
”Never mind, we're a few minutes early,” George Norman said, shaking hands with Sandra and introducing his niece. ”This is Jennifer, my assistant.”
Jennifer Leibold also stretched out her hand to sander, but looked at the empty living room.
George Norman looked around with the same strange look..
”Well,” Sandra said with a smile as she looked around awkwardly, ”Simon said that he had to rent this apartment because he was plotted against.”
Jennifer Leibold smiles, notices a strange picture on the wall not far away, and walks over curiously.
George Norman and Sandra follow the girl as she moves.
”Simon said that he donated a sum of money to the United Nations Children's fund, and then he got this thing. It's very meaningful,” Sandra said
George Norman sniffed, looked at Sandra and glanced at his niece.
Listening to Sandra's voice, the girl obviously didn't know that Simon westero had actually donated a whole half million dollars.
As for Jennifer, seeing this, I don't know what my niece will think.
Born with this idea, George Norman is more curious about what happened between his niece and Simon westrow. However, it is not easy for him to get to the bottom of things between these children.
After a few words of conversation, a sound came from behind. The three turned around and saw Simon coming in with a bag of copy paper.
Seeing that George Norman had arrived ahead of time, Simon apologized again. After a few more greetings, Simon said, ”Mr. Norman, miss Leibold, let's go to the back.”
So, through the living room and corridor, the three soon came to the backyard.
Compared with the empty villa, the backyard is much more ”substantial”. It is a garden full of vitality. Instead of building a swimming pool in the courtyard like other luxury houses, there is a very beautiful pergola. In the afternoon of Los Angeles, the sun falls from the cracks of the vine branches and leaves, which is very artistic. Under the pergola is Simon's original wooden table and some simple wooden chairs.
Watching Sandra come forward naturally and begin to pick up a large number of paintings on the table, Jennifer Leibold also takes the initiative to help, but she can't help being attracted by the paintings in front of her.
He should have painted all these, right?
It's amazing.
