C16 (2/2)
Regiment Commander Locke felt that what he said made sense. He immediately sent a few of his men to find Sayin and Jimmy, and the rest followed him to capture the Holy Beast. Compared to finding the person, the Holy Beast was much more important, because even if he found the person, he would not be able to escape his responsibilities.
After a day and night of travelling without rest, Ge Yan and Rex finally arrived at the vicinity of the Moonlight Ridge. Along the way, they met a few high level Magic Beast.
As for Moonlight Ridge, this forced them to mention that Magic Beast of the seventh level, the Gale Demon Wolf, was a high level Magic Beast that only resided in the depths of the forest, which was also Moonlight Ridge. Normally, it was impossible for it to appear at the edge of the Tasha Forest, however, the Magic Beast they met that night was the Gale Demon Wolf.
In order to do the whole show, they came here on purpose.
Throwing Cessy and Jimmy's swords into the Moonlight Ridge, Rex left some more clues before hurrying to his next destination, which was the Yin Wind Mountain Range. It lingered in the center of the Tasha Forest and was split into two gigantic mountains in the north and south side of the forest.
Ge Yan panted as he walked. His body that was more than half recovered now became heavier instead of resting, and his chest felt like it was in pain, giving him attacks from time to time. He could not hold himself back anymore, he leaned against a big tree, his hair was drenched in cold sweat, and his face was as white as paper.
Rex walked a few steps and noticed that the footsteps behind him had disappeared. When he turned his head to see this scene, his expressionless face creased into a frown before disappearing.
”I have a sore wound and would like to rest. Why don't you go first?” Ge Yan thought that he was here to rush him, so he did not realise that there was something wrong with his words. If Rex still did not believe him, then sending him away like this would actually make Rex suspect that he was planning something, and the trust he built up would return to before liberation.
Rex stared at his face, his eyes focused and a bit sharp. This person was able to hold on until now, and could endure even more than he had expected.
If it was a normal day, Ge Yan would definitely have sensed it, but now he was only concerned with the pain.
A ball of white-gold light appeared in Rex's hand, and the ball of light entered Ge Yan's chest. Like last time, the pain slowly disappeared, and by the time he came back to his senses, all his internal injuries had healed.
