Wei Yi harvested some medicinal herbs and entered the cave. He saw Wu Chuan flashing a bright smile at him.

In an instant, Wei Yi stood there in a daze as he felt as though the entire world had lit up. He recovered his senses and stood up as he watched Wangchuan.

His legs hadn't fully recovered yet, so he immediately pulled him down to a seat.

Wangchuan looked at the morning dew all over Wei Yi's body, then looked at the herb Wei Yi was gripping tightly in his hand. Slowly, a slight feeling of gratitude surfaced in his heart.

Wei Yi frowned his handsome brows and said as if he was reprimanding a child, ”How many times have I told you not to walk around freely despite the injuries on your leg? Why did you just turn a deaf ear?”

Wangchuan watched as Wei Yi reprimanded himself as he kneaded the medicinal plant in his hands, then slowly and carefully applied it onto Wangchuan's legs. As he applied the medicine, Wei Yi's hands lightly trembled, afraid that he would cause Wangchuan to experience pain.

Throughout the entire process, strands of thin sweat had already emerged from the tip of Wei Yi's nose.

Wangchuan had seen all of this, and unconsciously, perhaps even she didn't know that the image of Wei Yi in her heart had already changed.

Wei Yi finished applying the medicine on Wu Chuan's leg. He casually wiped the remaining dark green medicinal juice on his slender fingers and sat down next to Wu Chuan.

He reached out his hand to feel the temperature between his forehead and looked into his eyes. ”Is your body still warm?”

Wangchuan obediently shook his head. Looking at the medicinal plant on his leg, he asked Wei Yi in a probing tone, ”Where did you find this herb?”

Wu Chuan remembered that after he had fallen off the cliff, he had observed his surroundings. It didn't seem like a place where herbs could grow.

Wei Yi's body, which had just relaxed a little, came to a halt. He simply rubbed Wu Chuan's head in a perfunctory manner.

”You don't have to worry about that, just take good care of your wounds.” As he spoke, Wei Yi's eyes were filled with gentleness.

Then he took out two or three bright red, glistening fruits from his bosom and placed them in front of Wu Chuan.

”When I went out early in the morning and found these fruits, I brought them back with me. You eat faster.”

When Wangchuan saw Wei Yi take out these few red fruits, his face was filled with astonishment. ”Thousand years old, you …”

Before he could finish his sentence, Wei Yi interrupted him and said, ”I've already eaten one on the way here, hurry up and eat.”

Wu Chuan wanted to say something, but a large wild fruit was stuffed into his mouth by Wei Yi, stopping him from speaking further.

When Wei Yi saw Wu Chuan's sullen expression, her lips curved into a smile, and her long and slender eyes brimmed with a smile.

Wu Chuan took down the wild fruit in his mouth and fiercely glared at the childish Wei Yi as he ate the wild fruit in his hands.

As for Wei Yi, she smiled as she watched Wu Chuan eat the bright red wild fruit.

In reality, Wei Yi had walked a long way before the sky had fully brightened. He had searched for a long time before finally finding the only stalk.

The fruit was at least a hundred meters away, and there was a small tree with poor nutrition.
