Chapter 31 (2/2)
However, there was no need for her to make a move. Someone had a mental breakdown before her!
“Goddamn it! I’ll kill you!” Wind Drifting couldn’t listen any longer. His fury had soared and he only wanted to kill the guy before his eyes! He rushed over to Fatty while holding onto a longsword and hacked at Fatty’s character ruthlessly.
“-36”
His damage was not bad, but he later realized that Fatty never lost his head out of fear!
Why would Fatty lose his head? He didn’t have low defense or health and he had high Intelligence. With so many Constitution Points, his health could contend against an ordinary Warrior player. 36 points of damage might be half the health of a Pyromancer or Venomancer, but it was only one-tenth of Fatty’s health.
Since Wind Drifting had taken the initiative to make a move, Fatty wouldn’t be polite. Everyone’s level was around the same now, so there was nothing to be scared of. Plus, he had learned the Venomancer’s first crowd control skill, so he was full of confidence and wanted to test it with someone!
With a wave of his staff, he first released a Poison Sting that hit Wind Drifting. Then, he quickly took a step back to break away from his attack range before he waved his staff again to release the Miasma Skill. He hit Wind Drifting and took off.
There were many players at the entrance of the Bandit Camp Dungeon. Some players had already noticed the strange situation going on long ago. Now that someone wanted to start PK before their eyes, the players got excited. Not only did they watch the fun spectacle in a circle, but they also wished to cause trouble and jeered.
When Fatty started to run, the players along the way quickly evaded him so that Fatty could pass through successfully. Although Wind Drifting wanted to chase after him, he was helpless. After he was hit by the Poison Sting Skill, his movement speed had been reduced by 10%. Hence, the distance between the two of them slowly started growing.
When he counted to five seconds, Fatty stopped and turned around to release another Poison Sting against Wind Drifting. Then, he took two quick steps forward and figured out that the Miasma Skill’s toxic effect would soon vanish. As a result, he stopped and released another Miasma.
Wind Drifting now only had the Cleave Skill that he had learned when he had spawned. That iconic skill of the Death Knight required runes to be executed, but he had not learned any yet. Under the circumstances, unless Fatty stood still and let him slowly attack him, he wouldn’t be able to kill Fatty.
The Level 2 Miasma Skill deducted a total of 32 HP in 8 seconds from Wind Drifting. As a high-level Death Knight, he only had 300 HP at most based on the addition of 1 Strength point and 1 Constitution point. After ten moves, he would be killed by the toxin!
When he nearly lost all his HP from the toxin effect of several Miasma attacks, Wind Drifting got flustered. He knew the PK rules in the Chaotic Era. After the player who attacked first was killed by a counterattack, he would 100% lose one of the pieces of equipment he was wearing. Although the equipment he was wearing was not very good, he had spent a lot of money to purchase a whole body set of Level 10 Normal Rank heavy armor. Each piece had cost him one or two Silver Coins.
Therefore, he didn’t want to chase after him. Instead, he turned around to retreat.
His action naturally caused many players to jeer. Although he was a Death Knight fighting with a Venomancer, he had actually run first. What was this?
However, before Wind Drifting could run far away, Fatty released the Poison Sting Skill again. The sharp green special effect traversed a strange trajectory in the air while chasing after Wind Drifting. When it hit him, Wind Drifting’s speed was reduced again!
This was simply a kind of torture. He couldn’t catch up, yet his HP was slowly drained away. He couldn’t even use the Restoration Potion because as long as the toxin effect was still on him, if he drank the potion, it would be interrupted. Furthermore, no healer could help increase his HP. He could only watch his own HP decrease… The Venomancer’s crowd control skill would cause the player to give up all hope to the point of having a mental breakdown.
Fatty hated Wind Drifting just because he had attacked him first. He had almost caused him to waste his 5 Camp Reputation Points, which had not been easy to obtain. If he’d died, it would have taken him some effort to make up for it.
The last Miasma attack was released, accurately hitting Wind Drifting, whose health had been drained away by the toxin. After a scream, Wind Drifting fell.
When a player died, their soul would break out of the shell and appear in the nearby cemetery. The cemetery had a white murmuring Soul Messenger. Players could choose to consume their equipment durability to directly get resurrected, or they could use their soul state to run back to their body and choose to be resurrected.
However, Wind Drifting didn’t intend to return to pick up his body. He directly consumed his durability and was resurrected.
The PK had ended, so there was nothing to watch. Thus, the surrounding players dispersed, found parties, and entered the dungeon. After dispersing, a lot of people were discussing the earlier PK because they had found out that after a crowd control type of Venomancer gained the crowd control skill, they could cause a headache…
Upon seeing that Fatty was done, Fated Sky went over and asked in a low voice, “Um… Were the things you said just now true? July’s bust is…”
Before he could finish asking, he suddenly realized that Luo Moling was standing behind him, so he quickly went quiet from the shock.
Luo Moling ignored Fated Sky. She instead looked at Fatty and asked, “Tell me honestly. How did you know… that my size is 34C?”
Fatty snorted disdainfully and answered calmly, “There’s no need to ask. I can tell just with a glance!”
Luo Moling lowered her head to look at her chest and couldn’t help but blush. After a while, she gritted her teeth and asked, “Then how did you know that I wake up at 7:00 a.m. every day and go for a run? I just realized that your voice is somewhat familiar. Have you seen me somewhere before?”
