Chapter 29 (2/2)

“The Elite dropped it?” Fatty took the Skill Book as he asked this question in disbelief.

“Yes!” Bookworm said with a smile. “It also dropped two Skill Books. One is for you, and the other…”

“The other is mine!” Smoking Without Fire then added, “But it’s a Skill Book that can be learned from Level 10. Dark Sorrow!”

Dark Sorrow was a skill that a Dark Mage had to learn in the early stage. When it was released on the enemy, it would cause continuous health reduction damage. When it was released on an ally, it would continuously restore HP. Although the restoration was less effective, this skill was not like the Healing Potion, which was interrupted when one was attacked. It could be said that a Dark Mage with this skill was a true healer!

It was no wonder that when Smoking Without Fire brought it up, he was smiling widely.

“I’m sorry. What happened in the dungeon was my fault!” Smoking Without Fire added, “I shouldn’t have argued with you. You were right. I don’t know how to command indeed. Without you, I’m afraid we would have had a Total Party Kill this time and we would have only dreamed of obtaining all these rewards.”

Although they hadn’t killed Boss Gerov in the dungeon this time, each of them had basically leveled up and obtained some items. Crayon Knife had obtained a Light Armor Crafting Blueprint, Bookworm had obtained a Greatsword Blueprint, and Playing With Fire had also obtained a Staff Crafting Blueprint. Everyone had something.

Upon seeing Smoking Without Fire take the initiative to apologize, Fatty naturally didn’t argue with him. He wasn’t the petty kind… Hence, he waved his hand and let it slide.

Of course, he wasn’t a petty person, but he was only human when he became petty… Everyone knew this…

“What do we do next?” Crayon Knife, who was really excited about the rich dungeon rewards, looked at Fatty full of expectation.

“I’m going to enter the dungeon again. You guys in?” Fatty asked.

“I’m in!” Crayon Knife responded right away.

However, Bookworm and the other two hesitated. Eventually, he told Fatty, “No, it’s getting somewhat late. I need to work tomorrow. I’m not going. Find someone else!”

The three of them had to go to work the following day and had to rest early, so they were not entering the dungeon. This reminder made Fatty suddenly think whether he had to go to work.

He was mainly a little confused because he couldn’t remember when he’d started working at the church. Tomorrow was Monday. It seemed that he had to go to work. However, since he couldn’t remember whether he had joined the church, he felt a little uncertain.

He roughly remembered that this was during the beta period of the Chaotic Era, but because he had been too obsessed with playing the Chaotic Era, he hadn’t cared much about the date. As a result, after he had traveled back in time, he couldn’t remember much.

While he was distracted, Bookworm and the other two left, leaving only Crayon Knife and him standing together.

“Whatever! If I have to go to work tomorrow, Cillian will call me!” After Fatty put aside his work, he told Crayon Knife, “Let’s recruit players and enter the dungeon again!”

“Yes, alright!” Crayon Knife hurriedly nodded his head as he responded.

“Do you have money?” Fatty asked.

“I do!” Crayon Knife then added, “But it’s not much. I only have 1 Silver Coin!”

“Return to the city now, find the alchemy store in Asgarod City, and purchase some Novice Speed Scrolls!” Fatty said, “You might not have enough money, so I’ll give you four Silver Coins. Go purchase five Speed Scrolls!”

“What? One Speed Scroll actually costs one Silver Coin?” Crayon Knife was somewhat shocked.

“You have to buy whatever is useful!” Fatty handed him the money and added, “The money is for you. If you dare to buy less or run away with my money, don’t blame me for being impolite!”

“How could I? I only want to clear the dungeon!” Crayon Knife said with a smile. “Brother Chicken, go recruit players. I’ll be back quickly!”

After adding Fatty as a friend so they could make contact easily, Crayon Knife returned to the city.

Fatty stood at the entrance of the dungeon. He first took out the Poison Sting Skill and learned it. Then, he looked at the bustling crowd of players, coughed twice, and began to shout loudly, “I’m recruiting players for the Bandit Camp Dungeon! I need a Death Knight, a Pyromancer, and a healer. Requirements: listening to commands and definitely clearing the dungeon. Apply directly!”

There were many players standing outside the dungeon entrance to find a party. When he shouted, he immediately received countless applications for joining the party.

Then, Fatty leisurely acted as an interviewer.

He didn’t want anyone who was below Level 12 or was more handsome than him!

If it weren’t for the fact that female players rarely chose to play the Death Knight, he would have even said that he didn’t want any male players…

While he was being picky, two familiar names appeared before his eyes.

Fated Sky, Level: 13, Class: Death Knight.

July, Level: 13, Class: Pyromancer.

Damn, why was it them? How come it was this lady again?
