138 The Final Battle V (1/2)

In the blink of an eye, over ten minutes had passed. The Super Soldier and the Enigmatic Photon Dragon had both unleashed the full blast of their attacks. A huge explosion had occurred, almost bursting everyone's ear drums.

Fortunately, Ye Qin and Wang Tao had strengthened the barrier, and successfully protected everyone from the attack. As for the outcome of the battle, one would have to go back a few minutes in time.

To put it simply, after the collision of both attacks, the Super Soldier's energy turned from purple to white, then pink. Its energy had become stronger slightly while the energy changed color. In the end, this wasn't enough for it to win.

That was the outcome of the battle. The large sphere from the photon dragon had completely suppressed the soldier's laser beam. This meant that Yang Chen had lost, and now only two people remained.

That was Ye Qin, and War God academy's captain. Even though he had lost the battle, Yang Chen didn't seem upset. In fact, he seemed happy, while his hair and eyes returned to normal. Standing back, he enabled Ye Qin to finally have his turn.

On his side of the field, Ye Qin spoke; ”Let's wait a bit for both of us to recover, you expended a lot of energy in that attack, it took some effort to protect everyone.”

On the other side, 'she' didn't reply. Instead, she simply nodded in agreement to his suggestion. As for the crowd, they had long become speechless. Words didn't come out of their mouths for a long time now.

Watching the battle, they couldn't believe that others the same age, or even younger than them could display such battle power. Many of them questioned their entire lives during the battle up until this point. It wasn't even the final act yet either.

After ten minutes, the judge called for the match to resume. Once he did so, he quickly got away and hid amongst the crowd, less he was injured from the battle. Ye Qin looked forward.

A hand was placed on his shoulder; ”Have fun, the spotlight is all yours.” a voice told him. Turning around briefly, Ye Qin replied; ”This would've been yours if you didn't withdraw, your strength isn't any less than mine if I don't use 'that' ability.”

”No, no, 'that' is still a part of your strength, you can't just go and omit it like that. If you win, hopefully my sister-in-law's family will change their mind.” Wang Tao added as he stood back along with the rest of the team.

Ye Qin nodded in silence. He too had some thoughts about that topic. Of course, he never shared it with anyone, not even Wang Tao. But since the two were closer than even blood siblings, the latter could make his own guesses.

This battle was not only for the academy, but also for himself. With this battle, he hoped to prove something. Whether he wins, or loses, he would still be happy with the outcome.

Ye Qin looked forward, and glanced at 'her' for a few moments. She noticed his gaze and looked back at him for a few seconds before looking away. Ye Qin's Qiulong had recovered some of its energy during the short resting time. It came down from the clouds, like a dragon descending down into the mortal world.

Its huge body moved around in the sky, while a majestic and holy aura was emitted naturally from it. The Enigmatic Photon Dragon had returned to its original form. It's body was no longer illusionary, while the large shadow had disappeared along with it.

Its wings folded as it landed while facing its opponent that was no less than it in battle prowess. Of course, their strengths were different, with one focusing on speed, while the other on strength.

'Her' eyes suddenly flashed with a strange light for a fraction of a second. Ye Qin with his sharp eyesight had noticed it. ”It's coming.” he thought during this moment.

Next to the Enigmatic Photon Dragon, a white magic circle suddenly appeared in the space. Seeing this, many teachers, students and even the principal of the War God academy was shocked.
