127 The Second Round Part 6 (1/2)

Now, on the stage, the only ones remaining were Ye Qin and his opponent. With both universities now awaiting this final battle. The second-year through to the fourth-year students had already finished their battles.

Now, they all kept their eyes peeled onto the monitor that displayed Ye Qin and his Qiulong. As a dragon, his partner is amongst one of the rarest kinds of monsters in humanity. In China, only a couple of people are known to have a dragon with each and every one of them being renowned throughout the country.

Being able to see a dragon here today, meant that China would have another genius to fight for humanity in the future. As for those from the War God Academy, many of them were shocked, however; they were not as shocked as the other schools.

Why? Of course, it is because their captain who also has a dragon, they were all excited to see the matchup between their captain and Ye Qin. After all, who wouldn't be excited when seeing two geniuses compete with each other?

Up in the seats where all the headmasters were seated, the Nine Peak's headmaster grinned. ”Haha, it seems like we won this time as well. Looks like you will stay in fourth place this year as well.”

Next to him, the Battle Temple's headmaster frowned. ”Hmph, I can see that for myself, anyways its good that humanity has another genius. Once he grows up, he will be a powerful addition to our army.”

”Looks like you've changed these past few years, in the past; you would've started a quarrel with each other.” the War God's headmaster interjected.

”Whatever.”

”Right, bets are still up, right? Prepare to hand over your money.”

Back on the stage, Ye Qin looked over at his opponent. His partner stayed floating in the air without much movement.

The Demon Abbot which had grown to a huge size stared at the Qiulong. As the mantra from both Buddhism and the Devil kept echoing in the air as well as a strange ohm sound, the abbot sent a palm flying forward.

Whoosh!

A gold and purple palm that was bigger than the abbot itself flew towards the Qiulong. Around the huge palm, the air was literally being pulled into the palm like a powerful suction force.

The golden palm phased through the air as it smashed into the huge body of the Qiulong.

Boom!

The huge palm exploded as it made contact. A blinding light, as well as smoke, was left behind as no one could see what had remained of the Qiulong.

Slush! Slush!

When the dust and smoke cleared out, the golden palm had long disappeared. In place, a huge golden dragon could be seen slowly slithering its body in the air completely unscathed.

Seeing that its attack didn't do any damage at all, the Demon Abbot's eyes became demon-like. A horrible storm of purple light streamed from its eyes, while a huge Buddhist symbol appeared behind its back and rotated slowly in the air.

Ohm! Ohm! Ohm!

Behind the Demon Abbot, a giant fifty-meter tall golden buddha slowly took shape. Not only that, but a huge demon that seemed to be covering the entire world with its demonic presence also appeared at the same time.

It was like the Devil himself had taken form along with the Buddha in order to take out a single foe. With the appearance of the golden buddha and the purple devil, Ye Qin's Qiulong roared.
