Feng understood that the airburst producing bubble have green lines in them, The bubble that burst producing Hot liquid have red lines in them. The bubble that hardens up has Yellow lines in it while the bubble that produces spikes has Yellow-Gray lines in them.

The innate ability of his Astral soul was Ice-type, that is why he rushed into a bubble that burst into a hot liquid rather than those that produce air bombs or harden or those that produce metallic spike.

It was All because running into the other three types of bubble will stop him into his track, or blow his away!

While the hot liquid one could be defended by his Ice defenses.
