After Lu Feng was done talking to himself, he looked around the bas.e.m.e.nt, making sure no one was around. In his mind he thought of the painting and his entire body went into it. Before his eyes, there were rows of roses that had bloomed.

When Lu Feng saw the roses, he laughed to himself and said “What if I gave Ms. Bai a bouquet of nine thousand, nine hundred ninety roses tomorrow? I wonder if she would be happy if she saw that?” However, as he thought about it, maybe the seeds would be destroyed by someone else tomorrow. Hence, he grasped the time to quickly sprinkle the seeds he had onto the soil beside the roses.

There were only four pieces of fertile soil here, and that was the second area of soil. However, Lu Feng only planted the seeds on the second patch, and sat there and waited for a while for the seeds to sprout. Unfortunately, nothing sprouted out of the seeds. Lu Feng then frowned and said “That’s not right, the seeds of roses immediately sprouted after they’re planted. Then why the h.e.l.l aren’t these seeds doing anything!?”

Lu Feng inspected the seeds, and found out that some seeds didn’t have an immediate reaction, while other seeds had already sprouted a little. Although the sprouts were unoticable, at least there was some life that had grown from the seeds. Still, Lu Feng muttered to himself “Guess Spirit Plants are not as easy to grow as earth roses.”

Lu Feng knew that most types of Spirit plants required a few hundred or thousand years before they blossomed, but the roses on earth, required less than a year. Hence he guessed perhaps this soil may be very fertile, but still required an amount of time before any Spirit plant sprouted.

If the span of a few years could be shortened to the span of a few hours, it would already be good enough for Lu Feng. Therefore, he sat there silently, waiting for the Spirit plant to slowly grow out of their seed pods. He went down the well, and found that his Spirit Coins had increased from one coin to five coins. Lu Feng was very excited, and went back to watch the Spirit plants grow.

After two hours, Lu Feng had acc.u.mulated ten Spirit Coins just from watching the Spirit plants grow. As Lu Feng saw the portal to the Immortal’s Realm open, he said in eager antic.i.p.ation “Let’s find out where the Land of the Immortals is.” Lu Feng had seen TV shows adapted from fairy tales, hence he knew that the things that he could obtain in the Immortal’s Realm were all powerful. Naturally, the seeds there would also have some sort of magical quality, therefore Lu Feng wanted to obtain the seeds of the Immortal Fruit for himself.

However, Lu Feng felt a cold chill as he stuck out his hand into the portal. He quickly pulled back his hand, and there was a piece of rock that flew out. The portal then closed, and Lu Feng’s Spirit Coins went back to zero. Lu Feng paused and looked down at the rock that had bounced off his foot. The rock was actually a piece of cobblestone that was the size of an infant. Lu Feng said in annoyance “Motherfu- What the h.e.l.l is this heavy a.s.s rock here for. G.o.dd.a.m.n, my foot hurts from it.”

Lu Feng tried to carry the rock away, and found that the rock was very heavy. Initially, he thought it was a rock from the Immortal’s Realm, but no matter how much he battered the rock or used his Spirit Qi, the rock didn’t budge. Lu Feng worriedly thought “Did I go to the Land of the Immortals just for an… Immortal Rock!?”

When Lu Feng realised that, he nearly exploded. He hurriedly checked when he could open another portal, and saw that he now needed a hundred of those Spirit Coins to open the portal. “What kinda s.h.i.+t is this?! It was ten coins at the start, now it wants a hundred? Are they trying to drive me nuts!?” Lu Feng said angrily.

Lu Feng started to hit the walls of the well, in a desperate attempt to change the amount of Spirit Coins required. Unfortunately, the number never changed and Lu Feng gave up. He looked at the Immortal Rock with a forlorn expression, and went back to his initial position, watching the still growing Spirit Seedlings. “One hundred coins… I don’t think sitting here till tomorrow can get me that amount,” Lu Feng sighed.

Just as Lu Feng was doubting himself, he heard something move. He looked around curiously, only to find out the the noise was coming from inside the well. He immediately stood up and went towards the well to check out what was happening.

As Lu Feng arrived at the mouth of the well, he was shocked to see that the Immortal Rock was rolling and bouncing about on its own. This scared Lu Feng, as he took a few steps back and said in confusion and horrification “What the f.u.c.k…”

The Immortal Rock then leapt from the well and into the field of Spirit plants, landing with a thud sound. In an instant, the Spirit plants around the rock withered and died. Lu Feng’s eyes widened in horror as he tried to maintain his dwindling sanity. Those were the Spirit plants that he planted, with his own hands, for his own consumption and for gathering Spirit Coins. All of this were destroyed by one mere rock from the Land of the Immortals. Lu Feng immediately forgot about the dangers the Immortal Rock possibly had, and yelled angrily at it. “I don’t care whatever creature you are, but you just destroyed my crops! I’ll, I’ll kill you with my bare hands!”, he shouted

Lu Feng acted like a peasant farmer that had the fruits of his labour eaten by pests. He charged angrily at the Immortal Rock, but the rock merely hopped to the side, threatening to trample the roses too. Lu Feng stopped. “Don’t,” he harshly whispered.

The Immortal Rock oddly floated to the air and made a large arc, moving to the rear of the roses not smas.h.i.+ng into them. Lu Feng’s entire body was covered in perspiration1 shockingly said, “So close.”

Then when Lu Feng found out the rock could hear what he thought, he asked, “You, can understand my words?” That rock jumped up, and flew in front of Lu Feng and rolled around.

Lu Feng felt dazed staring at the rock, “What are you really.” That rock was still rolling around, then went over to Lu Feng’s leg and laid on it. Lu Feng’s face flushed red, thinking of lifting his foot but unable to. It was so heavy pressing down on his foot he felt like he was going to die.
