26 Spiritual Lesson (1/2)
In a flash, four months had gone by. Though it was four months, roughly over a month had gone by in the real world. During that period, Yang Guifei underwent several teartments sessions in order to fix her meridians and arteries. However, the issue concerning her soul was left unsolved, neither her or Little Feng could decipher the meaning nor events following up to it. And as such, the matter was left untouched until further notice.
Yang Guifei sat in a meditative state. The final treatment session for her blocked meridians and arteries had just finished some time ago. Though she was supposed to rest, Yang Guifei couldn't help but feel restless and impatient and had begun to cultivate as soon as she could. Little Feng sat with her, worried about his master's rash decision.
At that moment when Yang Guifei had began to cultivate, the air around her felt unfamiliar and new. As such, she assumed that whatever it was she felt, was what was called spiritual energy. In a way she couldn't help but become somewhat fascinated. Everything in this world was new and exciting to her. It was far different to her old world, yet also so nostalgic in a way she couldn't describe.
Within those spiritual energies, she noticed that they were of different colours. But since she had no knowledge of their significance, Yang Guifei chose to ask questions after her cultivation had finished yet also to not disturb her own concentration.
The spiritual energy around her began to soak into her body. Concentrating on the new orbs of energy entering her body, Yang Guifei carefully guided them throughout the different parts of her body so it was all evenly distributed. And once it was all done, a light began to emit from the core of Yang Guifei's body which eventually enveloped her entire frame, emitting a glowing aura around her.
It was a faint yet still noticeable yellow and the glow stayed that colour for a minute before rapidly changing into a brilliant, vivid red. It no longer changed colour afterwards, yet after a while, the aura around her slowly died down until it was no more.
The sudden change in her body made Yang Guifei shot open her eyes and sweat profusely, it was a weird sensation and she felt confused for a second before her mind adjusted to what happened. Little Feng stumbled to his feet, quickly going to his master's side for support.
”Master!! Are you alright?? Should I get you something to cool down with??”
The red head panicked, his small body bouncing around Yang Guifei, only making her head ache more than it already was. Little Feng had watched the whole ordeal through and through. Worry and excitement flooded his system and had trouble which one to express first. He decided that his first priority was to make sure that his master was alright.
Yang Guifei declined his offer and forced herself to calm down, which she eventually did. Whilst she regained her composure, Little Feng decided to bring her a cup of cold herbal tea nonetheless, despite her refusal. Feeling Tranquil, she noticed a few changes in herself.
'my body and soul seem to have gotten stronger and more resilient than before...how interesting!' Yang Guifei smirked to herself, happy about the new improvements. Her body was less weak then before, which made her satisfied temporarily yet it still wasn't enough for her. She took a light sip of the tea the small boy had gotten her, drowning in her thoughts and inner turmoil.
Seeing that Yang Guifei was doing alright, Little Feng lost all worry and only grew excited.
”Master! Master! Congratulations on your breakthroughs! You have successfully become a high stage master!”
He proceeded to cheer and celebrate for his master. On the other hand, Yang Guifei was even more so confused. Being born a trash, the people in her residence never bothered to teach her about cultivation, seeing it as a waste of time and efforts. The only thing she knew was how to direct the spiritual energy into and through her body.
Although this was based more on human instinct rather than knowledge. Almost all living souls in any realm were born with the instinct to cultivate, the method of cultivating was rooted in the minds of EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. Even if that individual was brainless, its body would still react. That was what made them so unique compared to other species.
Yang Guifei furrowed her brows, still not catching on to his endless praise. Eyeing him to shut up, she asked,
”Hey, can you explain the basics of cultivation?”
Little Feng snapped out of his hyper state at the request and realised something. His master was never taught the fundamental aspects of this world! He was shocked and surprised but happily agreed nonetheless.
”This world is full of spiritual energy which is found everywhere in the atmosphere. These energy are key and vital to one's cultivation! Every spiritual energy is grouped into different attributes, and depending on what colour you see, that is your body's core attribute. Those who can cultivate usually only see one colour, however, few who are prodigies are able to see more than one, although it depends on the person how many.”
”Oh I see...What types of attributes are there then?”
Yang Guifei asked, curious.
”There are three main attributes anyone can have. Fire, water and earth. However there are also sub attributes and legendary attributes which are more rare and harder to be born with. Those in the sub category include, ice, wind, metal and wood. Those in Legendary are lighting, light and dark.”
Yang Guifei nodded in understanding, gesturing for him to continue. Little Feng nodded.
”In the world of cultivators, there are 7 spiritual rankings one can obtain. Each having two stages, low stage and high stage. The ranking go in order, apprentice, master, grandmaster, heavenly sage, profound realm, holy deity saint, divine god. The divine God rank is the only rank which does not have a low or high stage, instead it only has a supreme stage. In history so far, there has only been three divine god rank cultivators. You can only imagine how difficult it is to obtain such level of power...”
Yang Guifei narrowed her eyes, pondering at his words.
