”Grandpa, you guessed it right!” Fu Yi laughed.
”Yi'er, are you still going back to H City?” Elder Ruan looked at Fu Yi and asked.
Fu Yi glanced at Chu Mengyao, ”I'm back, there are some work that needs to be done over there.”
Elder Ruan agreed with Fu Yi's working attitude and nodded, ”We can't relax at work, but you have to come back early to reunite with us. Don't not come back here until New Year's Eve, with a whole family waiting for you.”
”Alright, I'll definitely be back early, Grandfather.” Fu Yi said.
”I heard that the girl from Zhou Family will be back during the new year as well. She'll probably be returning home early next month as well, so when that happens, you should return early and head over to Zhou Family together with Grandfather to pay respects.”
”Alright,” Fu Yi readily agreed.
After all, Elder Ruan had held an important position for many years. He and Fu Yi had been chatting the entire time, and didn't pay any attention to Chu Mengyao at all.
”Yi'er, there seems to be something wrong with the computer in my study. Why don't you come with me to take a look?” Elder Ruan suddenly said.

When Fu Yi and the Elder Ruan were about to go upstairs, Fu Yi asked Chu Mengyao, ”Go together?”

”Her parents are dead. She's from H City.”
”She's just the kind of person you play with?” The Elder Ruan said in a probing tone.
Fu Yi felt cold sweat, ”How could this be? I wouldn't do that kind of thing.”
Hearing that, Elder Ruan's expression was somewhat unhappy, and he walked around the study room.
”Grandfather, didn't you always want me to show you a girlfriend? What, not satisfied with your grandson's eye? You want to bash a mandarin duck? ” Fu Yi saw that the Elder Ruan was not in a good mood and intentionally started a joke.
”What is a child like you saying? How could I possibly do such a thing?” Elder Ruan immediately denied his claim.
Fu Yi intentionally asked, ”Then why is Grandfather so cold to her today?”
”Have I not always been like this? ”Since you're here, let's have lunch before we leave!” The Elder Ruan said.
Hearing his grandfather's explanation, Fu Yi felt slightly more at ease, ”Alright.” A person like grandpa, who had seen all sorts of storms, would probably be more cautious. Back then, when his cousin brought his boyfriend back, wasn't grandpa also indifferent to it? Wasn't his attitude towards his brother-in-law pretty good now?
The worker knocked on the door and walked in, ”Elder Ruan, it's time for the physiotherapy.”
”I'll accompany you, Grandfather!” Fu Yi immediately said.
