Chapter 16 - Birthday Came (2/2)

“Good.” Bo patted him on his back. “Don’t be afraid. I was just teasing you just now. I won’t do anything tonight. I’m just coming here to accompany you tonight considering that you’ve been sleeping not very well these days and you’ve got dark shadows under your eyes.”

Chen carefully broke from his arms, “Really?”

“Yes.” Bo lay down on the bed and took Chen back to his arms again. “I won’t do anything as long as you’re well-behaved.”

Chen behaved obediently and slept with Bo for a night.

The shadow under his eyes grew darker the next day.

After breakfast, it just took Bo a phone call’s time that Chen fell asleep again on the dining table. Bo shook his head helplessly, walked forward, and bent down to half when Chen suddenly opened his eyes.

“What are you going to do?”

Bo straightened up his body and touched the top of Chen’s head. “Go back to your room to sleep if you’re sleepy.”

Chen rubbed his eyes hard and thought perplexedly that this man must plotting something while he went asleep. He was not going to take the bait.

“No, I’m not sleepy.”

“Don’t think of me that way. I’m really not going to do anything to you.” Bo sighed.

More clear-headed, Chen stared at him and said, “How do you know what I’m thinking of you?”

Bo poked him in the face. “It’s written here.”

Chen slapped his hands away, rubbed his face hard for a few times, looked up and said, “Were you really joking when you said you wanted me to trade sex that day?”

Bo nodded, “Yes.”

“Then promise me one thing.” Chen paused for a moment before continuing, “Then I’ll believe you.”

Bo, “Go ahead.”

Chen, “Haven’t you said that you are going to celebrate for my birthday tonight? Let me go after dinner.”

Bo, “Ok.”

Chen, “Do not go back against your words. Otherwise you’ll be impotent for the rest of your lives.”

Bo, “Ok.”

Chen was kind of unaccustomed to Bo’s being so unexpectedly reasonable considering his normally overbearing manner. “Then that’s a deal.” Chen got up and went out. But he turned back again when he got to the door, and pointed to Bo, “It’s a deal.”

“It’s a deal.” Bo smiled at him. “Go to sleep.”

Chen went back to his room, locked the door and slept until at night. At seven o’clock Feng Ma knocked at the door saying the dinner was ready. Chen got up to wash his face and thought it worthwhile to do some ceremonial things considering that today was his 18th birthday after all, which meant he would be an adult hereafter. So, he also took a bath. Finished, he put on his clothes and stood in front of the full-length mirror. He didn’t go downstairs until having a close look at himself for a while.

Bo also changed to a set of clothes. Although the suit coat only dangled over his shoulders, it didn’t make him less handsome at all. The more Chen looked at him, the stranger he felt. He touched his chin and circled around him.

“What are you looking at?” Bo put down the pad in his hands.

Chen stared at his left hand hanging from his chest and finally found where he felt wrong, “Where’s your plaster?”

Bo said plainly, “I’ve taken it down.”

Chen, “After such a short time?”

Bo, “I can’t get my arms into the shirt if I don’t take the plaster down.”

Chen, “So you just removed the plaster in order to wear a shirt?”

Bo, “Is there a problem?”

Was there no fucking problem?

Chen said angrily, “Do you still want your arms?”

Bo replied, “Happy Birthday.”

Chen, “…”

Bo stood up, took Chen’s hand and walked to the dining hall. “Of course, I still want my arms. Otherwise how can I hold you in the future?”
