Chapter 2 - Having a Stomachache (2/2)
The sudden tumble made Chen feeling sick and dizzy. Scarcely had Chen sat up with his hand holding his head when he was pressed down onto the sickbed again. Chen even didn’t have the chance to say any word.
Qing Bo landed on Chen, reaching out his hand to pinch his chin, “Look at your bitchy face.”
Zhen did have a bitchy face. Even Chen also said words like this before the car accident. But now he had this face, somehow the words sounded very offensive. Looking at Bo’s bulging arm muscles wrapped under the expensive shirt cloth, Chen came to know that even the three of himself added up were not the equivalent of him, so he put down the idea of directly fighting against Bo. Instead, Chen resorted to soft tactics, “Darling ~”
Disgusted, Qing Bo instantly withdrew his hand and stared at Chen.
Huh? Had Ke Zhen never called him like that? There was a chance!
Chen held Bo’s hand and looked at him affectionately, “Darling, actually I also want to do it with you, but I’m not fully recovered yet, so I’m unfit for such strenuous thing. How about you putting up with it now and waiting for me to get out of the hospital, okay?”
Sure enough, Bo was disgusted. He threw away Chen’s hand, and quickly got out of the sickbed and went into the bathroom.
Bo got out five minutes later after making himself well-groomed again. His face sank after finding Chen missing. He pulled out his phone and dialed a number, then hurried out of the ward.
Shi Chen waited until he left before crawling out from under the sickbed. Then he dusted his clothes off and went to the door, poking his head left and right. After making sure that there was no trace of Qing Bo in the hallway, he returned inside, took a set of clothes out of the wardrobe and replaced his hospital gown with it.
Shi Chen grabbed his phone and wallet and left in a hurry. Only when he left the hospital did he find that his phone ran out of battery. Fortunately, he had got a handsome face, with the help of which he managed to borrow a phone from a passerby effortlessly and give Yunsheng Liang a call, asking him out to meet at KFC.
Liang arrived soon and asked Chen hurriedly, “Why do you get out? My uncle has been looking for you everywhere!”
Shi Chen sucked a big mouthful of 9Lives Juice and sighed comfortably, “Let him go to look for me.”
Noticing the five cups of 9Lives Juice arranged in a line on the table, Yunsheng Liang frowned and took over the remaining four cups , “You should drink less cold things.”
“That’s all right. I’m feeling in good state now.” Shi Chen put the cup aside, put on a disposable glove, took a chicken wing and began to gnaw it. He smiled at Liang, “Even a 100-meter race will be no problem to me.”
“It’s surely no problem for you. But not for Ke Zhen.” Liang said, “He has stomach trouble and he’ll have stomachaches as soon as he eats something cold.”
“No way! How did he mess up his stomach when he was so young?” Showing little interest in Zhen’s health, Chen spat out the chicken bones out of his mouth, and then took a chicken leg to eat, “How do you know he has a bad stomach?”
“Well, my uncle paid no attention to him, so he always played the ruse of getting himself injured to get some sympathy. He once got himself drunk and deliberately waited outside the villa. He didn’t know that my uncle was not in the city that night. It was winter and was still snowing that night. If he had not been found by me, he would have been frozen to death.”
“Judging from your words, I think he’s also very pathetic.” Chen took off the disposable gloves and wiped his mouth with a piece of napkin. “And I found that your uncle seemed to have violent tendencies.”
“What did he do to you?”
Chen crumpled the napkin into a ball, put it aside and then sighed, “He wants to fuck me.” Seeing Liang’s eyes widened, Chen added hurriedly, “Take it easy. He didn’t get it.”
“Is that why you escaped from the hospital?” asked Yunsheng Liang.
Chen nodded, reached for the juice but was stopped by Lian. Chen also felt a little uncomfortable in the stomach so he did not insist. Instead, he leaned his chin upon his hands, “Liangzi, what do you think I should do in the future?”
Liang thought for a moment and said, “Let’s get divorced at first.”
“I’m sure I will. Anyway, I don’t want to be your aunt. But …” Chen paused for a moment and asked, “How old is your uncle?”
“34. What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” Chen touched his temple. “Just, just that he maintains a good shape of body.”
Liang gulped, “Are you having any thoughts about my uncle?”
“No, no. It’s just a thought.”
“It’s the best that you don’t. Ke Zhen is not worthy of my uncle, and as for you, you and my uncle are not suitable. Therefore, your marriage must be ended.”
“All right, all right. We’ll get divorced soon. I’ll go home and sign the divorce papers right now.” Chen stood up, but sat back immediately. Liang looked at him, “What’s up?”
Chen pressed his stomach with one hand and took a trembling breath, “Shit, I have a stomachache.”
“I’ve told you not to drink cold stuffs!” Liang was worried. “You have no idea how scary he is when he has a stomachache!”
“You didn’t say that until I finished drinking, all right?” Chen smiled bitterly. “Cut your crap and give me a hand.”
Liang helped Chen to leave the KFC. As soon as they left the gate, Chen could not bear the ache, with his head full of sweat and his face miserably pale. He said tremblingly, “I, I can’t hold on. The baby is coming …”
“You shut up!” Liang could only blame himself for being unable to throw him on the ground. “What time is it now? You’re still kidding!”
“Really, it really hurts.” Chen bent down painfully with his stomach in his arms. “I’m about to die …”
“Then you’d better keep living. Don’t die.” Liang directly picked up Chen. As soon as he turned around, Liang saw a man walking head-on towards him. Liang froze on the spot, “Uncle.”
“Give him to me.” Qing Bo reached his hands out to him.
Chen hugged Liang’s neck and gasped to his ear, “Don’t. He must be thinking I’m playing the ruse. Later … later on who knows how he will humiliate me. Liangzi, help me …”
Yunsheng Liang tightened his arms, “Uncle, he said he didn’t want to go with you.”
Qing Bo looked at Liang and said blankly, “When did you get so close to him?”
Chen Shi was so painful that he was nearly about to swear. He turned his head and shouted to Bo, “We’ve always been so close! Get out of the way!”
Sulking, Bo walked up and grabbed Chen over in his arms. He then turned around and walked quickly towards the black Mulsanne, who was parked by the side of the road. Chen gritted his teeth hatefully and rubbed his sweat on Bo’s suit intentionally, “Fucking Bo …”
Qing Bo got into the car and told the driver to drive. Only then did he look down at the half-dead man in his arms, “Now not calling me darling, huh?”
Shi Chen gasped for breath and then opened his mouth … Chen threw up all over him.
Qing Bo frowned instantly and said to the driver, “Hurry up!”
