“Hubby, I’m planning to let my mother perform tomorrow,” Jing Xi said.

“Why’s that?” Huo Yunshen asked.

Their original plan was to let Jing Xi pretend to be Jing Ruyue.

“I’m trying to fulfill her dream. I bet my dad wants to see mom on stage again,” Jing Xi said. “I will go on in her place only if she’s not feeling well.”

“I see…” Huo Yunshen paused and nodded. “All right, we’ll do that then.”

Since it was Jing Ruyue’s comeback performance, there was nothing better than letting the real thing perform on stage.

“I’m a little worried she might not come tomorrow.” Jing Xi expressed her worries while clasping her hands.

She was worried that Lady White Tea might not get baited, even after they had been planning for so long.

“It’s almost time to sleep,” Huo Yunshen said as his hands moved further upwards.
