“Repay me? You wanted to repay me by exposing my s.e.xual encounter with another man five years ago to the media, right?”

Xu Xiyan knew Chu Yuhe’s character very well. That ungrateful wolf would definitely bite her back after saving him.

Chu Yuhe lowered his voice as he begged her, “Xu Xiyan, I won’t do that. If I wanted to do that, I would’ve done it long ago. Why wait until now? You have to believe me and help me out, I’ll be forever grateful to you.”

“You think I’ll help you? I have some doc.u.ments here. You may wish to take a look at them, and see if there’s anything in there that looks helpful.”

Xu Xiyan tossed the file at him. Chu Yuhe wasn’t sure what she was up to. He took the file and opened it. His face darkened.

These doc.u.ments contained evidence of the crimes he had committed before. There was evidence that during his tenure as company president, he had taken bribes, misappropriated public funds, exploited the company’s actresses as prost.i.tutes to win over investors…

But now this important evidence was in Xu Xiyan’s hands. What did she intend to do?

“You never considered helping me at all. You’re here to give me more trouble, am I right?”
