Chapter 355 Do You Want to Be Punished by Kneeling on the Keyboard? (1/2)
At the Tianhu Villa
Nian Junting stormed into the house. Sister Lan was setting the dinner table when she saw him. She smiled and said, ”Master, you're back so early? You're rarely at home for dinner now, ever since you started dating Sangsang.”
Nian Junting froze and plopped himself on the dining room chair. He stared at Sister Lan emotionlessly. Did she think that he wanted to come home to see her? He was only home because they had a fight. She was seeing Yi Jingxi and whatnot behind his back. He couldn't understand why she wasn't satisfied with a boyfriend like him. He was perfect in all aspects. Women are greedy creatures, he thought to himself.
”Um… young master, did I say something wrong?” Sister Lan hedged her words carefully.
”Let's eat.” Nian Junting inhaled sharply and picked up his chopsticks. As he continued to have his dinner, he felt more and more awful about the entire situation. If Luo Sang was around, she would be piling food into his bowl. She would be sitting happily beside him.
His mood had been so affected these past two days that even his appetite was poor. ”I'm done.” He put down his utensils and prepared to take his leave.
”Young master, you only had half of your portion. Is there something wrong with my cooking?” Sister Lan asked out of concern.
”No, I had something to eat earlier.”
…
He continued his way upstairs. He couldn't stop checking his phone and going onto his social media page. He couldn't stop tossing and turning in bed. Eventually, he jolted out of bed, miserable, and called Xiao Si. ”Come out and have a drink with me.”
”Hehe, you've come crawling back to me after getting into a fight. I'm not going out, not after how you treated me this afternoon,” Xiao Si said spitefully.
”Who said I'm drinking because I had a fight? Luo Sang had a tight rein on me the whole time. I finally have some freedom now and want to have fun. Are you coming or not? If you don't go out, I'm going to arrange for you to go to the great north on a business trip.”
