We drove for what seemed like hours and the car finally stopped and I was beginning to grow nauseous. I ran out of the car to the nearest bush and emptied my stomach there. ”Anna” he rushed up to me with fear and confusion written all over his face and he held my hair up high while patting my back.

When I was done, he guided me back to the car and handed me a bottle of water.

”Thanks”. I rinsed my mouth and face and gulped down the remainder.

”Are you feeling better now?” he asked while still coaxing my back.

”Yeah, much better.”

”Are you still up for my surprise? We could go home if you—”

”It's okay. I'm fine and yeah I want to see the surprise that made drag me all the way from my bed at f.u.c.king 10 in the night. I enjoy my beauty sleep, you know.” He let out a chuckle before guiding me easily out of the car and into the woods. ”Why are you so fond of the woods?”

”I don't know. I just like it here. It's peaceful, quiet and gives me enough time to think and sort out issues.” He paused for a while. ”Close your eyes”

”Seriously?” I muttered as he handed me a black blindfold.

”Yup. Now close it. No peeking.” What the h.e.l.l is he up to now?

I groaned before complying ”Yes sir” he chuckled lightly before leading me up to G.o.d-knows-where.

After walking for a few minutes, he stopped in his track and drop his protective hands from my waist. ”Can I open my eyes now?”

”No” I heard ruffling sounds before he continued ”Now you can open them.” I slowly opened them and was astonished by the sight in front of me. At the far end are lit up letters...
