Back at the hotel, the bodyguards still followed her, escorted her back to her room, and left two men to guard outside.

Although no one had told her exactly how serious the situation was, she could see it through the course of the day’s journey out and back, as well as the presence of the men who had been guarding and following her.

Ji Nuan went back to her room and didn’t come out again, but she hadn’t seen Mo Jingshen since she came back in the afternoon.

Mo Jingshen didn’t come back even when it was dark.
