Chapter 781 - Will You Bear to See Someone Scold Your Fiancée? (1/2)
Feng Tianlan was really angry at that time because they were both at fault. Besides, they could always talk things out, but Si Mobai had actually gone missing.
However, after saying all those words, she felt as though the air had suddenly become cold like in the dead of winter. Hence, she knew that he was by her side all this while and did not leave her. She was wondering if he had been following her ever since she left the courtyard.
“Which is why you lied to me?” Si Mobai asked. He saw the complacent look on her face. He then stretched out his hand and touched her forehead softly. “Never do that again. What if there was a stone on the ground and you happened to hit your head on it?”
Feng Tianlan nodded while laughing, followed by a soft harumph. “You really are heartless. You were obviously following me, but you still watched me look around for you like a lunatic and call out your name like an idiot. All the underlings of Bailan Alliance saw this hilarious scene,” she said.
“I wanted to make you understand how it felt to be threatened with our relationship,” Si Mobai replied.
“I understand now. It hurt so bad I couldn’t breathe. I wanted to cry out loud and call you a b*stard.” Feng Tianlan grabbed Si Mobai’s palm and held it up.
Si Mobai said in a pampering tone, “You threatened me first, yet you still wanted to scold me?”
“That’s right. If I don’t scold you, am I supposed to scold myself instead? Will you bear to see someone scold your fiancée?” Feng Tianlan looked at his palm, and it seemed fine. She then took his left hand and saw the light pinkish scar on that palm. She lowered her head and blew on his wound while feeling sorry for him. “It must be painful.”
Her warm breath caressed his palm. He felt a numb sensation flowing from his hand straight to his heart. He lowered his head gently and watched her blow air onto his wound. He then shut his eyes and smiled.
“When I was injured before, my mother used to blow air onto my wound. She said that the pain would go away,” he said.
Si Mobai smiled while watching her blowing air onto his wound in a serious manner. “It hurt before, but right now, it doesn’t hurt anymore.”
Previously, he was hurt by her to the point where he couldn’t breathe. However, because of what she said, he felt that the happiness in his heart was about to overflow.
