“You are Feng Tianlan?” The headmaster, Qi Hongan, sat in the middle seat on the stage. He looked down at her from where he sat and scrutinized Feng Tianlan. She was small and thin, but she possessed the royal aura. Even though she hadn’t said a word, it was difficult to ignore her presence. It was a very strong aura.

Qi Hongan didn’t like the fact that this woman had such a strong aura. Furthermore, she was the one who bullied Pei’er and deserved to die!

“Yes.” Feng Tianlan raised her head and met Qi Hongan’s gaze coldly. He was the headmaster of the Flying Frost Pavilion and also Qi Shujie’s father as well as Tu Xiupei’s master. He gave off honorable energy, however, hints of disdain flashed in his eyes as he looked at her. He seemed to be just another sanctimonious hypocrite.

“You have only been here for no less than four days, and yet you have managed to cause trouble multiple times already.” Qi Hongan glanced at her sharply as he raised his hand and took her jade tablet from her. He placed it in his hand and gave it a gentle wipe. “Your punishment is to be an external disciple for a year and retake the test next year.”

Feng Tianlan watched as Qi Hongan wiped the jade tablet and immediately her name disappeared from the newcomer’s list. Her connection to the jade tablet disappeared as well.

Being an external disciple for a year and retaking the test next year meant she wouldn’t be able to practice for a year. She would also miss the test to go to the Xuantian Continent.

Feng Tianlan watched Qi Hongan’s expression from the corner of her eye. He really did use his authority to settle personal grudges! He must be impatient to avenge Qi Shujie and Tu Xiupei.

“Master!” Tu Xiupei stood up in front of the crowd and kneeled before him. She cried out in a pitiful voice, “Eldest Sister did not cause trouble on purpose! I beg you, Master, give Eldest Sister a chance!”
