Chapter 376: Feng Tianlan’s Feelings

Si Mobai grunted. He felt like he would regret it even more if he heard what she was going to say. However, she was going to say what she was going to say. He was the one who had to decide what to do.

Seeing his childish way, Feng Tianlan’s nervous mood abated slightly. He was special to her. When he was in front of her, he displayed various personalities. However, when he was in front of others, he had only one identity: the Demon Wargod!

During their first meeting, he had shielded her. His voice had been as cold as ice. Just listening to his voice had felt like freezing to death.

Their second meeting had been at the abandoned Xi Yuan. He was domineering, and his voice had been icy. He treated her no differently from anyone else.

Then (although she was not sure when), he’d changed how he acted toward her. When he was talking to her, he would unconsciously soften his voice. However, the way he treated others was still ice-cold.

He was obviously gentle when he was talking to her. Nevertheless, when he turned to others immediately after, his voice instantly reverted back to its usual coldness. Even his facial expressions changed quickly.

“I am hungry,” he said. The silent atmosphere made Si Mobai uneasy. He was looking for an excuse to leave. He didn’t want to be subjected to her heartless rejections all over again.

Feng Tianlan was jolted back to the present moment from her reverie. She raised her head and looked at Si Mobai, who had turned away. She bit her lips, braced herself, and said, “Si Mobai, I maybe like you a little bit.”

Si Mobai, who was striding forward and couldn’t wait to run away, came to a halt immediately. He stiffened and shifted his ears slightly. He could not believe what he’d just heard. Did she just say that she maybe liked him a little bit?

Was he sure that this was not a hallucination?

He wanted to hear her repeat it. He wanted to be looking straight at her when he heard it again.

“Don’t turn around. Let me finish,” Feng Tianlan said quickly when she noticed that Si Mobai was about to turn around. She was afraid that she might not have the courage to proceed if he faced her directly.
