Chapter 359: Benefactor

Feng Tianlan’s face grew even redder. She had never done anything like loosening a man’s clothing before, and just thinking about it made her feel really shy.

But then she thought about how Si Mobai had nearly died trying to take care of her. Cleanliness was always important to him, so how was he going to endure wearing a dirty set of clothes?

Compared to what he had done for her, what she was doing now was nothing. Anyway, she could just pretend she didn’t know anything about it once he’d woken up.

So, Feng Tianlan closed her eyes, clenched her teeth, and tried to undo the belt around Si Mobai’s waist with trembling hands. But she had no idea how to undo it, so she could only close her eyes and feel her way around.

After nearly fifteen minutes had passed, the belt still wasn’t undone, and Tianlan’s entire face was covered with sweat. Finally, she decided to just open her eyes. Her face was hot enough to cook an egg on as she stared at the clothes, which she had completely messed up.

She wasn’t going to admit to having done any of this!

After struggling in her heart for a while longer, Feng Tianlan finally convinced herself to regard him as her benefactor. Wiping him down and helping him to change his clothing was something she really ought to do. She told herself not to overthink things and to treat changing his clothes as returning a favor.

“My benefactor!” Feng Tianlan took a deep breath, plucked up her courage, and made her decision.

Feng Tianlan bent over Si Mobai. As her hands moved around his waist to undo the belt, she chanted to herself, “You are my benefactor. All thoughts and feelings on this earth are ephemeral. Don’t dwell on them!”

She undid the belt and chanted to herself a few more times. Feng Tianlan’s reddened face slowly lost its blush, and her shy expression also went back to normal. She now looked very serious.
