In J city, at eight o'clock sharp, a party for the members of the financial world was being held in the LSD hotel. There were lots of security guards around the hotel. Nobody could enter the hotel if they did not have the invitation.

The hotel was decorated all around with neon lights, which flashed one by one in rhythm, making the hotel more noticeable and beautiful.

The parking of the hotel was full of luxurious and prestigious cars. And none of the cars looked exactly the same. Every car was different from the other, representing the owner's taste.

Holding a glass of red wine in their hands, Lawrence and Austin were standing in one corner and observing the people around them. Some men wearing suits were smiling and trying to draw the attention of someone who was useful to them. Some women were scantily clad, but they didn't regret that. These women were trying to seduce handsome men who were looking towards them.

”Why aren't Mike and Mandy here yet?” Austin said, a bit impatiently.

”Just wait for a few more minutes,” said Lawrence, pretending to stay calm. But in fact, he was very nervous about the event. He didn't even know why he had been nervous ever since he had gotten up in the morning.

”Well, only four of us attend such kind of parties nowadays. Tim is giving company to Alice and their son at home, just like Violet and Greg. They love their kid so much. Last time, I wanted to pick the baby in my arms. But they didn't allow me to do so, because they were afraid that I would make him fall down,” Austin complained.

”Don't you know that a child is everything to its parents? They all have their own families and are leading their own life now, it is improper for us to ask them to attend such kind of parties,” said Lawrence. Then he turned to look at Austin and added, ”You should also think about your own marriage.”

”I didn't hear what you said, I didn't,” Austin said, and turned to look aside, pretending as if he didn't know Lawrence at all.

At this time, Mike and Amanda entered the party room and made way towards them.

”Lawrence,” Mike called out his name.

Lawrence and Austin turned to look at Mike.

”Mike, Mandy, you are very late,” Austin complained.

”Are we late? I think we are just on time,” Mike said and then glanced at his watch. Again, this time he said with more surety, ”We are on time.”

”But we have been waiting for you two for quite a long time,” Austin retorted.

Amanda smiled tenderly and said calmly, ”Austin, it is worthwhile to wait for us. There is a big surprise for you later.”

Amanda's words made Austin look at her with big eyes. He asked, ”What is it, Mandy?”

Amanda just smiled but didn't answer Austin's question. She glanced at Mike and then looked at Lawrence.

”Lawrence, you must listen to Mandy carefully,” Mike suggested to Lawrence.

Lawrence didn't know what was going on. He looked into Amanda's eyes, trying to figure out.

”I have heard from my friends that Aria is back,” said Amanda. Obviously, Lawrence was surprised to hear the news. Amanda added, ”She will also be here tonight.”
