After the four of them finished their dinner, Greg and Violet went home.

Watching them wave their goodbyes and zoom away in their car, Aria shuffled close to Lawrence and linked her arm into his. She looked up at him coquettishly from beneath her lashes. ”Where will you stay tonight, Chu Villa or my apartment?”

Lawrence's heart skipped a beat as he gazed at the beautiful woman beside him. He was reluctant to leave her. He loved being around her.

”Where do you want me to go?” Lawrence asked Aria, smiling at her wickedly. He wanted to hear what she would decide.

”I want you to come with me. I am scared to be alone,” Aria said softly as a pitiful look came into her eyes.

”Okay,” Lawrence agreed readily. ”I will be with you tonight. Let's get in the car.”

”Yes!” Aria beamed at him, pumping her hand in the air. Lawrence started the engine immediately and they left the western restaurant.

On their way home, Lawrence's phone rang. Aria took a quick look at it. It said ”Mom”, so she guessed easily who it was.

Aria was a considerate person. ”Lawrence, how about you go back to Chu Villa after sending me home?” She suggested to Lawrence before he answered the phone.

Instead of replying, Lawrence pondered over it for a second before picking up the phone.

”Hello, Mother!” Lawrence said to Cherry, who was on the other end of the line.

”Hi, Lawrence. My son, are you still outside? Will you come home tonight?” Cherry's voice sounded cordial on the phone.

”I am not coming home tonight, Mother. I will be at a hotel!” Lawrence said politely, before adding in concern, ”Is there a problem?”

”Oh, no, it's nothing. I just called to ask if you would be back tonight. I am having dinner with your father,” Cherry said to him affectionately.
