”Well, I see,” Violet responded, ”I called to thank you for sending me to the hospital that night, even though I lost my baby. I am still in your debt.”

Upon hearing this, Francis was overcome with guilt. He thought he was the one who should apologize to her and that he didn't deserve her gratitude.

”I should say sorry to you. If I hadn't asked you to dinner that day, you wouldn't have suffered all of this,” Francis blurted out. He had been tormented by guilt these days. He thought that he was the reason for Violet's misery.

”It's not your fault. Even if you were not there, she would have found another chance to hurt me,” Violet responded. After thinking about this all these days, she knew that Cassie was the only one to blame.

”Violet,” Francis stammered, not knowing what to say.

”Thank you for what you have done for me,” Violet said.

Francis felt that something was wrong definitely. 'It's getting late. Why would Violet call me at this hour?' he wondered.

”What's up, Violet? Did anything happen to you?” Francis asked frowning.

'Should I tell him that I am leaving tomorrow?' she hesitated inside.

As Violet didn't reply for a long time, Francis knew that something must have happened to her. He urged, ”Tell me, what is it?”

After thinking for a moment, Violet said with earnestness, ”Promise me that you won't tell anyone.”

”Okay, you have my word. I won't let anyone know,” Francis promised seriously.

”I'm going from here tomorrow,” Violet began.
