”How can you say that about your gifted son, Daddy?” Joe answered before Cherry could say anything.
Jackson glared at Joe,” Just play with your toys!” He softened his face and turned back to Cherry,” Don't be angry. Come on, let's eat together.”
Cherry sighed,” Alright. But just a little. We're having dinner with Jean and Mond later.”
”Eat as much as you can, because you have to feed the baby, too,” Jackson replied.
Jackson accompanied Cherry at the dining room, as she ate the food Lily prepared.
When she finished her last bite, Jackson asked Cherry,” It's a nice day out, do you want to take a walk?”
”That sounds like a great idea,” Cherry agreed. She wanted to get some fresh air anyway.
Cherry went back to the living room to check on Joe. ”Joe, once you're done playing, go upstairs and do your homework, okay?”
”Yes, Mommy. I'll do my homework after I build the castle. I will always obey you, Mommy,” Joe replied without looking at Cherry and Jackson.
Cherry shook her head but left him alone.
Cherry followed Jackson out the front door.
