Then he picked his phone up and dialed Cherry's number.

Cherry and Joe were leaving a fast food restaurant. Joe was enjoying the afternoon sun and said to his mom, ”Mommy, I had a super awesome time today! Is it time to go home now?”

”Are you super tired too?” Cherry asked in a doting manner. She looked down at her son smiling happily.

”Yeah, I'm a little tired. I wanna go home and get some sleep.” Joe said, finishing his statement with a big yawn.

”Okay, then let's get you home.” Cherry held Joe's hand as they walked to the car. As they headed to the parking lot, her cell rang.

Cherry stopped.

”Mommy, someone's calling you.” Joe chimed in when he heard his mommy's phone ringing.

”Wait a moment, Joe. Give me a minute to see who's calling, ” Cherry told him as she dug through her purse to get her phone.

”Okay, Mommy, ” replied Joe obediently.
