”Here, drink some water, ” said Jackson.

Cherry took the glass from his hand and drank some of it. She then put the glass on the table, and as she looked at her son, she said, ”Joe, pick the gifts for your Great-Grandpa first; you can give the rest of them to your friends tomorrow.”

”Okay, ” said Joe while he nodded, and then started to sort out the gifts from the shopping bags.

Jackson turned his gaze from Joe to Cherry, and said, ”Why didn't you call me? I would have come to the store to help you with all those bags.”

”I didn't know you were back. Anyway, Joe was really helpful with those bags, ” answered Cherry.

Jackson passionately held Cherry in his arms, and said, ”Next time, please don't wear yourself out like this. Just call me, I can also always send Bill if I'm away, remember?”

”Alright, ” said Cherry and silently nodded.
