Chapter 9 No Dubious Relationship (2/2)

Their relationship changes overnight. She tries to keep her distance from him, while he comes closer and closer.

Spoiling her, he gives her everything she desires. His only wish is to keep her around. The whole world is envious of what she has.

“Never rush in a relationship,” she says calmly.

In the study.

Andrew looked at his grandson and, in all seriousness, asked, ”Jackson, are you fine with your marriage?”

”Yes.” Jackson replied, respectfully but coldly.

”It's good.” A sense of achievement grew in Andrew Chu's heart. Finally, he had done something for his grandson and his family. Next, he would make his request.

”Grandpa, did you ask me here for other matters?” Jackson Chu had a deeper understanding of his grandfather's personality and knew that he wanted something else.

”Your wedding will be held in two weeks. I must be informed of your wife's pregnancy in the next three months. Within a year, I will hold my great-grandson in my arms.” Andrew Chu said, bluntly. ”Do you have any problem with my demand?”

Jackson Chu was astonished by his grandfather's request. But he quickly regained composure.

”I can't do this on my own.” He answered. Cherry Chu couldn't be controlled easily. He wanted to love her tenderly, rather than force her to do anything. If he behaved this way, she wouldn't get pregnant in three months.

”Bullshit.” His grandson talking back had angered Andrew. He had been expecting the arrival of his great-grandson for a long time. How could Jackson refuse his request by saying this?

Andrew Chu refrained from getting angry. He added, ”Do you need extra help from your grandpa? Cherry's your wife. Of course, you can do whatever you want with her. I just want to hold my great-grandson in my arms and kiss him. As for any husband-and-wife matter, it's not my concern. I don't care if you die from fucking her hard in bed.”

Andrew Chu was agitated. His grandson was old enough to give birth to a child. Why would he refuse?

Jackson Chu remained silent.

Andrew Chu ordered with absolute authority, ”If you can't meet my demands, you will be punished. If that happens, I promise you will regret it.”

Later, the family was having lunch at the table. John Ye, sitting opposite from Cherry Shen, kept glancing at his ex-girlfriend and barely ate anything.

Cherry Shen had sensed John's glances, but pretended she hadn't, and focused on eating.

Jackson Chu kept a close watch on John Ye and was angered by his repeated glances at Cherry Shen. But he had to suppress his anger and allow the family to finish their meal. After all, it was the first time that Cherry Shen had come to his house and stayed for lunch.

Jackson Chu put some food into Cherry Shen's bowl and displayed infinite love in his eyes.

Cherry Shen responded and thanked him tenderly and softly.

Jackson Chu looked at John Ye and was satisfied by his angry reaction. This was what Jackson Chu wanted. 'How dare you seduce my wife, ' he thought.

Cherry Shen looked up at John Ye and instantly averted her eyes, completely ignoring his pleading glances.

She decided to find a way to solve this. John Ye's glances, as sharp as knives, pointed at her. They might stab in her heart any second now.

Suddenly, Cherry Shen smiled and leaned towards Jackson Chu. She deliberately threw a fit and said sweetly, ”Jackson, I want that dish.”

Jackson Chu was surprised by Cherry Shen's sudden act. He looked at the food Cherry Shen was pointing towards. It lay in front of John Ye.

Jackson Chu replied, tenderly, ”Ok, I will get it for you.”

Jackson Chu used his chopsticks and was about to put the food in Cherry Shen's bowl, when Cherry requested, ”Now feed me.” Cherry Shen reached for Jackson's arm and leaned against his body.

Jackson Chu glanced at her. A sense of happiness was growing in his heart. He knew she was deliberately annoying John Ye. But he still loved it.

Finally, Jackson Chu gave in and fed her. At that moment, he resolved to feed Cherry Shen in this manner every day.
