An Lei pulled a bitter smile, “Some people are born to be despised.”

“There’s only one reason for a woman to bully another woman and that is jealously.” Sima You Yue continued, “They are either jealous of their beauty or talent. I guessed it’s impossible to be jealous about your appearance. What about the latter?”

An Lei shook her head and said, “There are other reasons.”

“What is the reason?” Sima You Yue looked while sitting opposite of her with both palm supporting her chin.

“Oh?” Sima You Yue got more curious, she measured her up and down and said, “I don’t see any difference!”

An Lei smiled bitterly without saying anything.

“Why? You don’t have a good impression on Eastern Lai Clan.” An Lei looked at her with vigilance.

“I do have a bad impression on them, your Young Miss is too arrogant and egoistic, she is hostile to me with no reason as well. I don’t have to put up a front just to curry favor with her although I came from a small town.” Sima You Yue didn’t care if she ridiculed about Eastern Lai Li in front of An Lei.

“Young Miss won’t agree to it.” An Lei said.

She stood up ignoring An Lei’s shocked gaze and said, “You can consider.”

She only knew An Lei for a short while so she didn’t want to risk anything having her by her side and decided that making an oath would be the best choice.
