Liu Buyan choked with emotions but finally still swallowed the last few words back.

When Liu Buyan thought of this, he turned his head and had a shock.

Mu Chengying buried his face into his hands as his heavily suppressed pained voice rang dully.

“Just a little longer, just a little longer… why didn’t she wait for me! Why can’t I be a little faster…. If I had got out of my closed door cultivation earlier, perhaps she wouldn’t have died…..”

Liu Buyan looked at his grieved look as though he wished he was dead, as his heart was stunned and developed a little bit of sympathy towards him.
