”Mum, Dad. I wanted to talk to you about something important.”

”What is it son?”

Logan took out his laptop, got to YouTube, kept the laptop in front of his parents and started his video. Helen had no clue what Logan was going to show them while Arthur thought he was going to show a funny video. After the video started, they saw a piano in a room which clearly was Logan's.

After a while Logan sat on the stool by the piano and started playing it. Helen had never seen her son so happy. While Arthur found the determination in their son's eyes. And then Logan started to sing.

Got me ten feet off the ground

But I just can't make a sound (Oh yea..)

They tell me that you mean it

Logan could be seen completely immersed into the rhythm and the song. He had that emotional look on his face. The song finished after a while and there was utter silence in the living room.

Helen suddenly embraced Logan and said,” Baby, are you keeping secrets from us? Why was that smile so fake in the end?”

Logan said complainingly,” Mum, I showed it to you so that you can tell me if it's nice or not? Nothing to do about my smile”

”Ofcourse you sang beautifully. It was superb. And you look really gorgeous on camera. Handsome as hell.”

Logan looked at his beaming mother and thought so this is how a mother's love feels like. When it came to her son, she always had dumb love towards him. Arthur, on the other hand asked him,”It was really good Logan. But you didn't show this to us to fish for compliments right?”

”Mum, Dad. I wanted to be a singer. I have always wanted to be one. And may be after that an actor. Thanks to both of your DNAs I have been born really good looking and I can sing well too.”

Helen became anxious. She knew that the entertainment world was very vicious and full of dirt. She didn't want her son to be entangled in scandals and drugs. Seeing her being so anxious Logan said,” Mum. I really want to do this.” It was his turn to be anxious. Looking at her son ,being so anxious she said,” Fine, fine. But you have to promise me that you won't tread onto the dirt in that industry.”

” I won't Mum. You are the best Mum.”,saying he gave a big kiss to Helen on her cheek.

”Dad, I just got an advertisement offer from an music equipment company. I want your help for that.”

”Sure thing son. But remember what you have promised your mother today Logan.”

The final obstacle had been crossed over. Logan was very happy.
