[Every 5 levels, the speed of skill assimilation increase 2 folds]
[E.g. If host takes 100 days to learn a skill, then after level 5, host will be able to learn the same skill in 50 days.]
[At level 10, in 25 days and so on. Please note than there are only 30 levels.]
Logan had already purchased 'computer and programming skill' from the system. His eyes had bled when he purchased it for 1000 star points. Now he was left with a big zero in his balance. It had been a month since he had finished his studieswith Evelyn. He had been constantly studying computer and programming skills and his level had increased from AMATEUR to STUDENT. He was better than most college students now in programming.
He had already started taking some small programming and coding jobs on the internet. He had earned around one grand from these jobs. He still needed more to start his grand adventure. Also he was still learning. Those well paid ,high end jobs were still out of his capability.
The next thing he wanted to do was set up a YouTubeaccount. This world had Youtube. All the major social media platforms were the same as his old world. First was the account handle. He tried everything but he could only settle on Theknight285. 28 May was Mia's birthday. All the stars in these world were the ones he had never heard of. The songs, films, tv series were all different. He had studied all of entertainment from his past world. He had successfully recreated all the songs in his past life by studying the composition. He would use the knowledge from his past world to sweep through the entertainment circle in this world.
He had already written 5 songs and submitted to the US Entertainment patent office or USEPO. After the USEPO searched through their database for similar songs, they would give him the copyright of the song. This was new for him but it was convenient. The USEPO came under the central administration so there was no influence of the 5 bigs. He didn't need to worry about his work being stolen.
He had already tried and tested the song he wanted to be his first. Helen had heard him sing once while passing by his room and came in to listen. She had applauded at the end and asked him:”Baby, since when have been interested in singing?”
”Just trying it out Mum. I do love singing though”, Logan had been vague about it. He was not ready yet to tell his parents that he wanted to be a entertainer. A superstar.
Today was the day. He was going to record his first song and post it on YouTube. He had taken his father's high end video camera, set it up on a tripod. He kept it facing a piano which he had asked his parents to move to his room from the hall. He started the video and then sat on the stool. He closed his eyes and thought of all the failures he had in his past life. He had been given a new chance at this. With determination, he opened his eyes and started playing the piano, which was followed by his words.
