Chapter 11
In the blink of an eye, our break ended and we went back to work.
「Okay! Has everyone gathered? We’re going to exterminate some monsters that has frightened the Markgraf* Scottley (スコットリー) in the southernmost region.」*German word for 辺境伯, t.i.tle of n.o.bility for military commanders for protection of borders (/wiki/Margrave)
Leader shared the information for our current job.
「For monster extermination quests, usually adventurers can do the job, but the Markgraf is in the southernmost region. When thinking about traveling expenses and bandits, at any rate, it is not worth it. So, that’s why we come in.」
「How long will it take?」
「Well, I don’t know. Actually, I haven’t gone there before either. HAHAHA! Well, let’s go!」
And so Lint Bloom Kis.h.i.+dan had a bit of an uneasy start.
After loading up three carriages with ingredients and weapons, we left.
「Oka-y! Let’s have lunch around here!」
It seems that we’re going to have lunch in an area close to a river.
When they talk about lunch, it’s my cue.
「Well, Kio, we’re counting on you for lunch!」
Yep, they’re leaving it all to me.
Well, what should I do today?
This time, we’re travelling far so I brought bread and dried noodles.
We’re near a river, so I don’t need to worry about water.
「Okay! Let’s make that!」
Soak the dried meat in water.
Lightly stir fry cabbage and the soaked dried meat in olive oil.
Boil the dried noodles in plenty of hot water. Add salt to the water.
Plate it and top with chopped chili peppers.

I was actually planning to make carbonara, but Nezumi-kun desperately protected the cheese, so I gave up.
「Everyone, I’ve finished!」
「Oh? What’d you make today?」
