Chapter 7 – Holding the Horse Stance

Zou Liang’s mind was set on planning his and Ou Nisi Te’s improvement. He long had this in mind and had planned the prior week; waiting for a day to try his plan. Thus early this morning Zou Liang had dragged Ou Nisi Te out of bed.

“Big brother, isn’t it a bit early? I still haven’t had enough sleep.”

“There’s no time to sleep, from today onwards I will be in charge of your training. Let us begin the first round.”, Zou Liang answered.

“Older brother, you’re not as strong as me, you won’t be able to beat me.”, Ou Nisi Te’s replied immediately breaking his large mouth open and furiously shaking his head.

“Quit talking nonsense, hurry up.” Zou Liang reprimanded as he knew that explaining to this guy wasn’t as useful as diving straight into action or demonstration.

“Yes!”

Ou Nisi Te swung his arm and proceeded, attacking with a very accurate bear pounce; charging forth with a paw swipe.

Although the aggression was good his whole body was full of flaws; so many that Zou Liang was a bit heartbroken.

hong…..

Ou Nisi Te suddenly felt his leg go numb; there was not a shadow to be seen in front of him as he fell head first into the ground.

“Come again.” Zou Liang instructed, in training one mustn’t be gentle or soft handed, if this was counted as bullying then only he was allowed to bully him.

Ou Nisi Te picked himself up and swung his fist, charging towards Zou Liang once again.

Full of flaws!

During this time Zou Liang tested the coordination of his body. Though this body was lacking attacking power, his agility as well as his battle sense was Zou Liang’s forte.

Ou Nisi Te felt his leg go again numb and fell onto the ground again.

“Big brother, you can’t keep kicking at my legs. Us bear tribe people must fight head to head!” Ou Nisi Te indignantly stated.

“No shit, on the battlefield who would fight head to head, in a battle one must be aware of their surroundings at all times. How can one only guard their upper body but not their lower body!”

“Heng, only winning by fighting head to head counts as winning”, Ou Nisi Te opposed.

Zou Liang felt a bit dizzy; trying to explain things to the bear tribe was indeed a bit hard as they were so stubbornly attached to their ideals.

“Fine, so if I win fighting head on, does that mean everything I say is correct?”

“Of course”, Ou Nisi Te replied opening his mouth generously.

“Then come.”

After falling twice Ou Nisi Te was more alert, he felt his older brother was different from before. He readied his body and pounced towards Zou Liang furiously.

Zou Liang’s eyes glinted as he launched a kick straight into Ou Nisi Te’s chest, followed by a right knee. Ou Nisi Te’s two meter body immediately lurched backwards. However before he could even react Zou Liang had launched out a roundhouse kick, whipping him in the neck.

Hong……

Ou Nisi Te smashed into the ground like a pole, unable to raise even the slightest resistance.

—-Triple chain slicing kicks, a minor combination in Muay Thai.

On the ground Ou Nisi Te wheezed for quite while, unable to get up. From this moment Ou Nisi Te no longer viewed Zou Liang with respect, but also boundless admiration.

He hadn’t even seen his movements before he was hit. Previously he was very confident of his defensive abilities but they were of no use when faced with his older brothers attacks.

“Older brother, what technique is this? It’s so powerful! Please teach it to me then I’ll be able to beat those who beat me till they’re lying prone!”, Ou Nisi Te exclaimed. In this world no one wants to be bullied even if they are dumb.

While trialing his strength, Zou Liang was slightly impressed, as a result his confidence had grown as well.

“Of course, didn’t I say that from today onwards I will train you properly? In the days to come, us brothers will adventure through the whole world unmatched.”

“To be invincible under the heavens”, Ou Nisi Te recited filled with boundless longing for that future.

Zou Liang was in a daze, he had only said some random things, luckily this rascal was naive.
