The absorption of the soul caused a strange sheen to appear on the surface of the planetal skeleton, as if the impurities within it were removed and it received a spirit. Finally, it was no longer a skeleton and an actual planet! A very small figure of a man similar to Zhen Shi appeared within the planet. This was his soul spirit! Ordinary cultivator souls are placed within the dantian and are capable of doing nothing besides cultivating and observing the body. After a while noting that quite some time was left for the day to finish, Zhen Shi continued and stopped near a mountain face. He utilized earthen aether to carve out a cave within it and went inside. Sitting crosslegged he manifested the skill book obtaining a very thick dark red leatherbound book. He had decided to definitely read it since it had come out of an 'easy life' chest.
Soon Zhen Shi's inner book worm was completely entranced with the vast amount of details in the book. Although titled for 'dummies' it could be considered a truly complete guide for material identification. The book gave information regarding almost every mineral, herb, and beast material in existence, along with how to identify them, possible locations, their general value, etc. Zhen Shi was surprised to find information regarding many materials even with extra-terrestrial origins.
It also provided information regarding pill refining and blacksmithing. Many types of refining techniques and special notes for novice cultivators were available in it.
This book contained an utterly incomprehensible amount of information. Even cultivators have a limit on the extent of their memory. But Zhen Shi could completely neglect that with the effect of the title ”Scholarly Bookworm.” As such, by the time the sun was setting, he had completely memorized all of its contents just by reading it once. In fact, he was itching to try out some pill refining and blacksmithing.
But he was lacking the items necessary to do so. Still his rewards this time were bountiful. He began to walk back to Myne and Vivienne now that the day was nearing its end. He didn't fly because he kept using the appraisal skill on the plants and herbs along the way.

He walked into the clearing with a brightly lit fire, above which was a large pot covered with a lid. Myne and Vivienne smiled at his arrival and called out, ”Your finally back! Come quick or the food--” but stopped with widened eyes.
Zhen Shi was confused at their looks.

Noticing his confusion Myne said, ”Your--your cultivation? How did it improve so fast? Could it be--?”
