Brian held Molly's hand as they walked out of the ward.

He was gripping so hard on her wrist that it hurt Molly a bit.

She tried to wriggle her hand free but to no effect.

Molly was angry at Brian and was staring him down for just dragging her like that and refusing to let go. But after a while, she felt sad and resigned towards Brian. She stopped trying to wriggle her hand free and just let Brian lead her to the elevator.
