Part 18 (2/2)

”You're right. I have slept with her; but that s.h.i.+t is over,” he said, taking her hands into his.

”No, it's not. I can see it in your eyes when you talk about her,” she pulled her hands back. ”Do you love her?”

”Do I have love for her, yes. She is very loyal to the organization. But you are the only woman who has my heart.”

”What the f.u.c.k does that mean?” she pushed Malik back.

”Baby, I married you. You are the only woman who has the key to all my s.h.i.+t; everything is in your name. You own me. You are my world; she is just a small part of it.”

Sabrina tilted her head to the side as her eyes lowered. ”So, I'm supposed to be happy because I have your things?” she raised her voice. ”None of this s.h.i.+t means anything if the man who gave it to me is thinking about the next b.i.t.c.h while he's f.u.c.king me.”

Malik took a deep breath. ”It's not like that,” he tried to convince her.

”Well, how is it?” she crossed her arms over her chest. ”You f.u.c.king me and f.u.c.king her. You tell me you love me and I'm sure you tell her the same. I have your baby and so does she. So how the f.u.c.k is it not like that?”

Malik's eyes got wide at her revelation.

”Yeah, n.i.g.g.a, I know that s.h.i.+t too,” she spat with disgust.

Malik was quiet. He had been very careful about how he dealt with Keisha and the baby.

”Don't get quiet now. You wasn't quiet when you f.u.c.ked that b.i.t.c.h raw and allowed her to have a baby outside your marriage,” she shook her head in disbelief.

”I love my daughter. I am not the type of man to walk away from mine,” he said as his heart pounded against his chest at the pain he saw in Sabrina's eyes.

”Then let me walk away from you,” she responded as tears ran down her face.

”I will never let that happen,” he reached out to her and she moved to the other side of the kitchen.

”Baby, don't do this right now. You know what this is. I would never allow anything to happen to us; which means I would never allow you to leave.”

”Then let her go,” Sabrina looked firmly into his eyes.

Malik took in some air then let his heart speak. ”I can't,” he said as he moved toward her.

”Then I guess your choice is made,” Sabrina moved swiftly toward the steps; she took two at a time heading to their bedroom.

Malik was right behind her. When he entered the room, Sabrina was in full rage.

”What the f.u.c.k are you doing?” Malik came up behind her grabbing the clothes from her hands.

”Don't you touch me,” Sabrina screamed, s.n.a.t.c.hing away from him as she continued to pull things from the drawers.

Malik looked at his wife and for the first time, guilt hit his gut hard. She was breathing heavy and her hair was all over her head as a stream of tears ran down her face.

”I can't do this with you. I'm not sharing you with her,” she cried as thoughts of the many times he stayed away from home and the other baby he probably held in his arms the same way that he held their child flooded her mind. ”You took all my choices,” she whimpered.

”I'm not letting you leave me,” he spoke calmly as he moved slowly in her direction. ”Let me hold you, baby,” he said as he put his hand on her shoulder.

”Why are you doing this to me?”

”I love you,” he confirmed as he pulled her into his arms.

”Why are you sacrificing our family?” Sabrina cried on his shoulder.

”Don't worry, I won't let anything come between us. Just give me a little time. I promise you, everything will be fine,” he held her firmly against his chest. ”I got you, baby; just trust me,” he whispered into her ear, placing a single kiss on her shoulder.

”Is everything okay in here?” Pas.h.i.+on asked, holding KoKo in her arms.

”We straight, Mrs. Allen. Can you take KoKo downstairs please? We will be right down,” Malik asked as he continued to hold Sabrina close.

Pas.h.i.+on moved away from the door, pulling it closed behind her. As she ascended the stairs, a knock rang out on the door. She placed KoKo in the playpen and headed to the door and when she opened it, she looked into the eyes of the man that she could only describe as the devil.

”Good evening, Mrs. Allen, is Malik available?” Sadeek asked, removing his hat from his head.

”No, he is not!” she spat, pus.h.i.+ng the door closed.

Sadeek stopped it with his foot then gently pushed it back open. ”Well, I guess I will have to wait for him inside,” he said as he moved forward, forcing Pas.h.i.+on to back up and allow him to pa.s.s.

Pas.h.i.+on let him pa.s.s, then closed the door; she followed close behind Sadeek as he walked straight into the living room and took a seat.

”I guess your mother didn't teach you any respect,” she said as she too took a seat.

Sadeek didn't bother to respond; he just sat back and looked at her like she was stupid.

Pas.h.i.+on lit up a cigarette and stared a Sadeek wondering if he knew that the man he idolized and wors.h.i.+ped was f.u.c.king his woman.

”You know the thing that bothers me about you young, so-called thug a.s.s n.i.g.g.as?” she paused and took another long pull then blew the smoke right in Sadeek's direction.

”No, I don't; but I am sure you are going to share your so-called knowledge,” Sadeek said as he sat forward folding his hands.

”I sure am,” she also sat forward and geared up to let some s.h.i.+t go on his smart a.s.s. ”You little n.i.g.g.as use words like loyalty and honor, but eat off the same plate you s.h.i.+t on,” she said smooth looking right into his eyes.

”And your point would be?” he asked, allowing his gaze to match hers.

”You got my point. I just hope that you don't let it stick you in the a.s.s before you feel it,” she sat back, pulling deep and blowing smoke into the air.

Sadeek sat back nodding his head and processing her statement; he knew that this woman was not just talking bulls.h.i.+t. It was some truth to her tongue which was giving him confirmation to his own thoughts of treachery and deceit.

Pas.h.i.+on sat staring at Sadeek and the more she looked at him, the more she knew that he was the key she needed to unlock her own deceit.

”You ready?” Malik asked, walking into the room, pulling his arms through his thin leather jacket.

”Yeah, I been ready,” Sadeek said as he rose to his feet. ”Thanks for the lesson,” he said to Pas.h.i.+on.

”Anytime,” she spat back.
