Chapter 4 - Divine Healer Mo
The next day.
Gu Qingyu rose up early in the morning.
She plainly dressed up in a light purple-colored yarn skirt and casually tied her hair, before going out.
Of course, she had already come up with an excuse. She had told Xiao Qi ahead, in case of someone looking for her, to tell them that she had already gone early in the morning to study the zither.
Gu Qingyu relied on her lightness skills and arrived at the foot of the mountain. She carefully hid her ears and tail, and entered a close by village.
The villagers were especially welcoming, Gu Qingyu gently latched onto an old man, ”Are there any decent paths that go up the mountain around here?”
”Yes, there are, but they are relatively difficult to find……If young miss doesn't mind, this old one can bring you there.” The old man laughed.
No matter how Gu Qingyu turned over this in her mind, something still felt weird about this, but she still nodded hesitantly, ”Grandpa, I'll have to trouble you then.”
”No trouble, no trouble.” The old man chuckled and started to walk towards the mountain.
Gu Qingyu followed closely behind, but started to notice that there was something wrong with the scenery behind them.

Why is there suddenly no path behind us? We definitely walked accordingly to the path!
She looked in front of her, and discovered that the old man had also mysteriously disappeared!!

”WAH!” Gu Qingyu jumped up, turning her head back.

Gu Qingyu shook her head, ”I'm fine.” She glanced curiously behind his man, ”Eh? How come the road is showing up again??”
”My lady, this mountain is known as the Illusory Mountain. People who don't know the way, are easily deceived by the evil spirits in the area and gets lost. I came here in order to pick some herbs and happened to see you, so I thought to come and help each other. I'm wondering if you need help?”
”Help, yes!” Gu Qingyu clung on to him as if he was a life-saving straw, ”Let's go~~!” She pondered for a while, ”……Um, I'm not sure if I'm asking for too much, but if it's possible, could you help me look for an herb called 'Illusion Spirit Gra.s.s'?
That person stared at her arm that was wrapped around his, hesitated for a while, but didn't say anything in the end. He curiously asked, ”May I ask why this lady is looking for an Illusion Spirit Gra.s.s?”
”A friend of mine needs it!” Gu Qingyu blurted out without thinking.
”Illusion Spirit Gra.s.s is the Sacred Treasure of the mountain, they are grown on the high and steep cliffs and very difficult to retrieve.” That person shook his head.
Gu Qingyu's mouth twitched, ”It feels like Jia Qizhe was playing with me! It's completely impossible to pick those! He clearly just doesn't want to bring me with him!!”
Spotting the split-second of a gloomy look in Gu Qingyu's eyes, that person faintly sighed, ”I'm also here to find an Illusion Spirit Gra.s.s and I happen to know where they are, if you don't mind, we could go together, but it'll have to depend on our good fortune if we're even able to find it.”
”Un, yeah!” Gu Qingyu nodded and followed that person.
Who cares! If I can't find it, I'll just randomly pick up some weeds back, it's not like Jia Qizhe would know what an Illusion Spirit Gra.s.s looks like!
But Gu Qingyu forgot about something really serious and critical about this, that is——Someone like Jia Qizhe, that has traveled to the ends of the earth, is there even anything that he hasn't seen?
