9 Money Breeds Wastrels (1/2)

Outside of the hotel, Cao Feifei and Ling Feng were blindsided.

Their intention was to humiliate Zhang Xiaohua in order to force him to run off. Unexpectedly, he was so calm and wasn't even angered in the slightest. He accepted Ling Feng's ”alms” with such grandeur and swaggered into the hotel.

What a divine level of shamelessness!

This shocked them both, especially Cao Feifei. In her view, Zhang Xiaohua's heart was quite fragile and shouldn't be able to stand the slightest blow.

As far as she remembered, whenever Zhang Xiaohua received some sort of grievance in the past, he always ran home and closed himself in his room for a whole month.

”Master Ling, you just said that their consumption tonight was on your tab. Do you want me to just give them a few side dishes and kick them out?”

Ling Feng's complexion was white for a while, he was p.i.s.sed that Xiao-Hua had disregarded him.

Although he wasn't willing to actually pay, he also didn't want to be seen as a cheapskate.

”No, this young master still has some money. Tonight, you should let this group of peasants do as they like. All their accounts will be paid for on my tab!” Ling Feng's heart was stunned and he was gnas.h.i.+ng his teeth as he squeezed his words out.

”It can't be that expensive, right?” Cao Feifei said as she raised an eyebrow. After hearing this, Ling Feng became even more annoyed at the situation.

Ling Feng's anger was overwhelming, his eyes glared at Cao Feifei, transferring his frustration on to her. He warned her with great strength: ”Today, I looked after your Cao family's reputation and received nothing in return for helping. If you dare try to use me to deal with a group of trash next time, don't expect me to help.” As he changed his look to the doorman, he shouted: ”Hurry up and go get my car!”

Cao Feifei was frightened by his outburst.

Not only did the doorman not dare to refute, he did not dare to delay either. He quickly rushed off into the parking lot and went to grab Ling Feng's car. He almost fell down multiple times on the way there.
