Chapter 18 (1/2)

So before you begin this chapter, I want to tell you before hand that this chapter might bring confusion. This is due to the fact that the character introduced in this chapter is also named s.h.i.+zuru, and least when you look at the Romaji for it the word. I am unable to tell if this is the story of Elizabeth, or if this is some new character, sorry in advance.

At the east section of the Imperial City, at the corner of the slums. At the site where s.h.i.+zuru had been doing “work”.(TL: Notice, I don’t know if I translated this wrong, or what, but ??? is read as s.h.i.+zuru in romaji, but translates directly to sizzle.)

There was a large pile of dead corpses, with a sea of blood running.

A cold sound plays in the wind, making it even more eerie.

-And, even around the mountain of corpses, there were dozens of more surrounding it, cut up and spread out like fish.(TL: The spread out like fish part came from the word ‘Namasu’ which the MTL translates as “a dish of raw fish and vegetables seasoned in vinegar.”)

“Mother said…”

Said a child’s voice, which was transparent among the sound of the wind.

There stood a little girl, with her barefoot dyed in blood, as she stood atop of the mountain of corpses.

“I seem to be an unnecessary child. You seem to have died as result, of hitting me while saying so.”

It is a child of about 12 or 13 years of age.

They wore ragged clothing, and grasped a knife.

“From saying so every day every day every day every day every day every day every day every day.”

It was a large sheath knife which was seemingly way too big for the girl holding it.

Flesh and blood clung to it, concealing the almost original silver looking color of the sword, up until then, it had been dull, and used as a regular knife.
