52. The White Hea.r.s.e Vision White, Hea.r.s.e, Women, Pa.s.senger I saw a white hea.r.s.e with John (one of my congregation members) in the pa.s.senger seat. Someone else was driving, and there were two women in the back seat.

Interpretation: The white hea.r.s.e symbolizes the burial of an offense (see Hea.r.s.e). The offense is identified by the two women in the back seat. One woman symbolizes an issue concerning John's estranged wife, and the other the church at which John experienced betrayal by the pastor in a marriage counseling session (see Woman).

53. Foreign Invasion Dream Foreign, Army, Invading, Rock, Sea, Rifle, Sand, Cave, Candles, Orange, Mel, Dune Buggy, Roof, Wall A foreign army was invading, and I saw them at the base of a huge rock that went down into the sea. I and others were positioned somewhere higher on the rock looking down at their landing. I ran to get rifles and ammunition to shoot at them.

To do so, I had to crawl through the entrance of a narrow sandy cave about one foot high. There was something like a dozen orange candles on the base of this sandy entrance which led down deeper into the cave where it opened up. The candles were all at different stages of dying out. The majority were just wax mounds where once there had stood a candle.

At this point in the dream I had the revelation that it was only a dream, and yet the scene was so vivid and real, I could practically smell the wax and cool sand. Down beyond the entrance were two peoplea”my compatriotsa”one male, one female. The entrance was so narrow I thought that the roof could collapse on me at any minute and I would die here. I realized that it did not matter if I died here because if I didn't get through I would die anyway when the enemy overran the place. I realized that I must not give up and that there was something greater at stake here.

I made my way through the narrow entrance and down into the cave where the male person, who reminded me of actor Mel Gibson took me through a different exit to a powerful dune buggy type vehicle, and we went and got the arms we were after.

In the next scene, we had the arms (rifles and ammunition), and were on our way back, and I was conscious that the enemy was infiltrating. Mel showed me on a map how he had worked out to get us back to the hotspot. He, as the driver, was going to jump the car onto the roof of a fortress type structure and again jump it onto the top of a wall that ran toward where we needed to go. It looked pretty spectacular and exciting, but I was confident in his ability to get us to the hotspot. I was also aware that we would be shot at on the way.

Interpretation: The invasion speaks about the infiltration and subtle influence of technology, which is leading the Church away and captive (addicted) to entertainment.

The cave speaks about the Church hiding (see Cave); this is the female deep in the cave (see Woman). The narrow sandy entrance says two things. Firstly, it says that the way is going to be under pressure. Secondly, it says that the Church is for the most part merely toying with the Word of G.o.d (see Matt. 7:26) (see Narrow). The orange candles are a warning about the state of the Church and its fading apostolic mandate (see Matt. 28:19-20). We, the Western Church, are being drawn into a flesh-comforting entertainment-rich lifestyle and, as a consequence, have become spectators. We expect people to come to us instead of going out carrying the message we have been given.

The fear of death I experienced on crawling through this narrow opening represents the fear of ridicule I feel I will experience for sharing this revelation. The realization that something greater is at stake says that I will proceed with this because I realize the Church is in jeopardy. The awareness that what I was experiencing was a dream and yet it appeared so real says that even though it was just a dream it is a certain spiritual reality.

Mel means ”chief,” and therefore, Mel Gibson in this dream represents Jesus Christ, who has been taken into hiding by the Church (see Woman and Chief).

The dune buggy symbolizes a powerful ministry (see Dune Buggy) driven by Jesus Christ, who will carry this message onto a preaching platform (see Roof) and over the obstacles and barriers (walls) that would otherwise prevent it (see Walls). The rifles are willing hearts (launching pads) for words, and the munitions are those words (see Bullets).

Being shot at speaks of ”friendly fire” from people within the Church for carrying this message.

54. New House and Goldie Dream New Home, Gold, Five, Identification I came home to a new home. The house was bigger than usual and everything was like new inside. As I went in, I saw Goldie was inside.

She said, ”It's only me; it's not a burglar or anything.” Goldie was going through my things, picking out five things that identified me.

She had a photo and a hat and three other things.

Interpretation: The new house is the promise of spiritual growth and fulfilment (see House and New).

The name Goldie means ”a precious yellow metal” (see Goldie in Name and Place Dictionary). It represents money and relates to your spiritual growth and the prosperity that is a.s.sociated with it. This is a warning from G.o.d that when you come into your spiritual inheritance to beware of money's subtle power to steal away who you are in Christ (your ident.i.ty). In the dream, Goldie says, ”It's only me; it's not a burglar. . ..” This is a mark of the apparent friends.h.i.+p between you and her. However, she (money) is stealing your ident.i.ty in Christ. She is attempting to take the grace and favor of G.o.d which identifies you (see Five). Beware, you cannot afford to lose who you are in Christ. Jesus says that you can gain the whole world and lose your soul (see Matt. 16:26). This is the danger here (see Deut. 8:7-11, 18).

55. Climbing out of Window Dream Storm, Window, Upstairs, Roof, North I knew that a really high wind storm was coming. I told my husband, and he tried to see it out the window.

In the next scene, we were upstairs, and he said, ”I'll have a look.” My husband stepped straight through the window and onto the roof and walked easily to the gutter and looked north to view the approaching storm. I was looking at his feet, thinking he wouldn't normally do that, because a person would be cautious on the roof, but he stepped out confidently, like it wasn't an issue.

Interpretation: A wind storm coming from the north is indicative of the pending judgment of G.o.d (see North and Storm). Taking a look speaks of prophetic insight (see Lookout). Going upstairs represents going into the Presence of G.o.d (see Upstairs).

Stepping through the window says that your husband is stepping into the prophetic promises of G.o.d (see Stepping). He is going beyond merely seeing and is moving into place (see John 3:3-5). Confidently walking on the roof represents moving in faith on a preaching platform, and it appears part of his message may be judgment (see Roof).

56. Skateboard Dream Skateboard, Tricks, Wheels, New I was on a skateboard, and as I was riding it, I was doing some tricks.

The tricks were basically kicking the back of the board to get it to slide out. I picked up the board when I had finished, and there was another young person with me. I looked at my wheels, and they were all worn out. His wheels were brand new.

Interpretation: The skateboard speaks of youth ministry (see Skateboard). Doing tricks represents moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit (see Trick). Wheels are representative of your spirit; having worn-out wheels means that you are not replenis.h.i.+ng yourself in G.o.d after ministering (see Wheel). Seeing his wheels are brand new says that the other person is spending time with G.o.d to renew his spirit (see Isa. 40:30-31).

57. Looking at Mushrooms Dream Table, Jamie, Right, Mushrooms I walked up to a table. Jamie, an old friend, was with me on my right.

I looked down on the table, and there were a.s.sorted mushrooms on the table. I had to choose the one I wanted.

Interpretation: The table is the decision-making process, and choosing the mushroom says that you are allowing the decision-makers to keep you in the dark (see Table and Mushroom).

Jamie on the right means that the flesh is in control and, therefore, you are not seeing what is going on spiritually (see Jamie in Name and Place Dictionary). Like Jacob, you need to wrestle with G.o.d for His promises and not rely on people or ministries for your promotion in G.o.d (see Gen. 32:22-32).

58. The Flying Bus Dream Flying, Bus, b.u.t.terfly, Carolyn, Seat, Coat, Cold, View, Coastline, Home I was on board a flying bus called ”The b.u.t.terfly.” Carolyn said the ride wasn't the best (she had been on it before). I thought it was great! Inside was bigger than a normal bus, more like a 747 interior. We were coming back from a day trip.

I moved seats to be with someone else. I left my coat in the other seat. It was a little cold, but OK. I was concerned that perhaps my other seat would rob someone of a seat (that it wouldn't be filled).

We didn't realize that the bus flew until we started to see from the air. There was a great view along a coastline. We were free of traffic, and there were great views. We were relaxed and having fun on our way home.

Interpretation: The b.u.t.terfly speaks of a ministry in the Spirit (see b.u.t.terfly). The b.u.t.terfly is contrasted with the earth-bound caterpillar as being free from limitations.

Carolyn means ”woman” (see Carolyn in Name and Place Dictionary). In this situation, it is a reference to a woman in your life who is not comfortable walking by faith (in the Spirit). A day trip is a reference to ministry in Christ (see Day).

Moving seats is a change of role and authority (see Sitting). This is reinforced by the fact that you left your coat in the other seat (see Coat). It appears that in changing roles you are concerned that your former position be filled. The slight cold you felt seems to indicate a cold reception of the decision to change roles (see Cold).

Seeing from the air refers to being in the Spirit and moving in the prophetic (see Seeing). The coastline is the border between the spiritual and natural realms (the boundary of faith) (see Coastline).

Being free of traffic refers to being free of the commercial systems of people. Being relaxed on your way home refers to making your way to Heaven (see Home), and not being caught up in traffic is a reference to being free of political or religious compet.i.tion.

59. Water Flying Over Keyboard Vision Water, Flying, Computer I saw water flying in slow motion over my laptop.

Interpretation: The water flying over the keyboard speaks of an anointing over what you are writing (see Water and Computer). It is moving in slow motion because what is being written is taking time to come together (see Slow Motion).

60. Screws in Head and Cheek Son, Screws, Head, Cheek My son had a screw in his head and one in his cheek. I offered to take them out with a battery-powered drill I held in my hand. He wouldn't let me. He came back a while later and said, ”I got them out myself.”

Interpretation: The screws represent strongholds (see Screw). This dream shows that your son has two strongholds; one is a mental att.i.tude, and the other is cheekiness.

His refusal to allow you to take them out indicates that he needs to be instrumental in removing them. Though he currently needs to deal with these two areas, it appears in the right environment that he will. The battery-powered drill in your hand symbolizes the Holy Spirit in your heart (see Battery and Hands). Don't push the issue to force their extraction. Keep doing what you are doing, and G.o.d will lead him to deal with them.

61. Tennis Player Smuggling Cheese Dream Cheese, Smuggling, Television, Law I dreamed that a prominent woman tennis player was caught smuggling cheese. I could see the shape of the cheese; it looked like mozzarella. The tennis player was in a lot of trouble because of the smuggling offense. It seemed a silly law, but it was the law, and there were serious consequences.

Interpretation: (Asked about her relations.h.i.+p with tennis, the dreamer revealed that she used to play compet.i.tion tennis and that more recently she had spent a fair amount of time watching the Australian Open on television.) With this information, it appears that G.o.d is showing that you are having your Christian maturity (cheese), or opportunity for Christian maturity, stolen or smuggled from you by television watching, as evidenced by your television watching of this event (see Cheese).

Though the television watching seems harmless (silly), it will have spiritual ramifications. This is a serious warning that if this continues, it will lead to problems because the call upon your life is going to require considerable Christian maturity.

62. Shower of Gold Dream Gold, Shower In my dream, I saw a shower (like a rain shower), but it was of gold particles.

Interpretation: As this dream was experienced by a Bible teacher (its context), it is likely to be about an outpouring of powerful teaching (see Shower and Gold).

63. Wife Holding Calculator Dream Calculator, Dad, Wife I saw my wife holding a calculator because her dad was not there.

Interpretation: This dream suggests that the wife is concerned about her financial security instead of trusting G.o.d (her true Father) for her security (see Calculator and Father).

64. Three Long-Sleeve T-s.h.i.+rts Dream Clothes, Blue, Grey, Famous Person, Reporter, Mother-in-Law I had been given three long-sleeve T-s.h.i.+rts in different colors: dark blue, grey, and light blue. Each s.h.i.+rt had been written on by the hand of someone famous.

A female reporter was at my home looking at two of the s.h.i.+rts and transcribing some of the writings. My wife's mother had called in the reporter.
