467 Talk” of The University (2/2)

That was considered an unexpected gain.

”Ye'zi, why are you walking so fast? Didn't we win the game? Are you worried we'll be beaten up?” Potato asked as he was having difficulty catching up.

”Ye'zi, your maneuvers were just too amazing! That was the top five hosts! Did you know just what kind of feat you pulled off there?” Xiang was similarly boiling with excitement, feeling dreamy.

Just as they were lamenting, Little Gen suddenly felt his phone vibrate. He took a look, then exclaimed in surprise, ”OMG, Y-God just updated his Weibo. I need to check it out.”

”For reals? Let's check it out together.”

Potato and the others immediately moved closer to have a look. With that, their bodies trembled greatly as their eyes narrowed.

They first looked up at the calm Ye Lingchen, then checked Weibo, then looked back at Ye Lingchen, then the Weibo post again…

”F*ck! Ye'zi! Y-y-you…” Hao Jian was jumping up and down, pointing his trembling finger at Ye Lingchen. His tongue was tied, unable to speak properly.

”Y-y-you're…” Potato looked at Ye Lingchen in disbelief, totally at a loss for words.

”F*ck, Ye'zi, this is amazing!”

Little Gen was a lot more direct, immediately cheering him loudly.

”Alright, alright. It's just an identity. Don't get all worked up about it.” Ye Lingchen waved it off nonchalantly.

”F*ck me. You can stop acting cool in front of us.”

”You've hidden yourself well. To think that I've been chasing after your live stream all these while.”

After the momentary shock, they soon recovered from their daze and started teasing Ye Lingchen.

At that moment, Ye Lingchen was already a celebrity. The additional identity did not really bring them that much surprise. It was just some additional decor. Furthermore, they remembered Ye Lingchen telling the story about corpse herding which was similar to Candle Blowing Ghost. So it was all the same person.

”Ye'zi, you're just too talented. You're good at gaming and have vast knowledge. This is just crazy!”

”You're the son of good fortune, right? OMG, our bro is the son of good fortune. We're definitely getting rich in the future!”

”Ye'zi, I've wasted one autograph to get into the anime convention. You need to make it up to me.”

They were surprised, but at the same time realized why Ye Lingchen was in such a hurry to leave. Feeling the crowd behind them that were searching up and down, the five of them pressed on even faster!

While chatting, Ye Lingchen suggested treating them to a meal which immediately obtained the agreement of the rest. With such a rich guy with them, it was a waste for them to not take full advantage of him for one meal.

The group was too lazy to walk far and picked the most expensive restaurant within the university campus.

Red Canton Mansion. Their specialty was Cantonese dishes and had a huge selection. It was a place where only the higher-ups of the university campus could enjoy themselves. Apart from the rich kids, most ordinary students would never have the chance to eat at such a high-class establishment.

However, that day, the five students finally realized what it felt like to be a true rich kid.

With a wave of his hand, Ye Lingchen ordered one of everything after removing some salads and a few of the cheapest dishes, displaying his generosity!

Even with that, one meal had only cost him a little over a hundred thousand. Ye Lingchen was a little dissatisfied. 'Sigh, the problems of a rich person!'

For a moment, the employees in Red Canton Mansion were busy discussing which rich kid was here spending money. 'Such a wastrel! His parents must be suffering!'

Although they did not know if Ye Lingchen's parents were suffering in their hearts, they were sure of their own pained heart. 'Why can such a person be born as a rich kid? How nice would it be if that was me instead. I would surely not be such a wastrel. The heavens are unfair!'

The incident in Red Canton Mansion was later spread around the university, turning into a common topic that was discussed by many. Unexpectedly, it had slowly turned into the ”talk” of the university…
