”Hey, have you guys already thought about it? So cagey of you. Which one of us has no balls, exactly?” Ye Lingchen knocked on the table impatiently. ”If you're not brave enough, get lost while you still can!”
”Alright, kid. Let's gamble!”
The bald man stared at Ye Lingchen while speaking. At the conclusion of his sentence, everyone else silently pushed their chips to the player spot.
In their eyes, Ye Lingchen was just a snotty little boy who had an exaggerated opinion of his abilities. His three-game winning streak was dependent on sheer luck. They were not the kind to believe in superstition, so if the fourth game ended with the banker winning, then the boy's luck went beyond all conceivable laws of heaven.
”Go ahead and bet then. You're not scared, are you!” The fat man frowned and urged as he was afraid that Ye Lingchen was beginning to regret it.
Ye Lingchen gestured casually with his hand, prompting the reluctant Lu Hao to push all the chips to the banker's position. It was an ostentatious bet, no doubt.
”Little brat, I've had ten years of experience in casinos. It's impossible that the banker wins all four games consecutively. You're definitely going to lose!” The fat man stared at Ye Lingchen and sneered.
”Quit the nonsense, reveal the cards.” Ye Lingchen shrugged noncommittally.
”Banker wins!”
Once the dealer's voice was heard, the fat man lost his voice and froze on the spot. He turned his head to look at the cards and his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. How was that even possible?!
”You're cheating!” Unable to take it any longer, the bald man got up and pointed to Ye Lingchen.
With a thoroughly red face, his eyes widened considerably and he began shouting.
By then, there were already ten bodyguards coming over. They gestured to the entire table and signaled the players to leave.
Within that table of 12, the only one who was not eliminated was Ye Lingchen. The other 11 were eliminated in one fell swoop!
”You're out of chips, please leave!” the bodyguard ordered calmly.
”I disagree!” The bald man placed his hands on the table, leaned forward, and stared at Ye Lingchen. ”This kid is a cheater!”
”Hehe, what a retard.” Ye Lingchen shook his head and stared at the bald man with contempt. ”I'm neither the banker nor the player. Tell me, is there any way I can cheat?”
”How is it possible for the banker to win all four rounds if he's not cheating? There's no scientific basis!” the bald man growled.
”I'm lucky.” Ye Lingchen downplayed it.
Two bodyguards have already stepped forward to drag the bald man out. Even then he was protesting, ”You are a cheater! Otherwise, there's no way you can be so certain of winning by betting on banker! Your kid is a wolf in sheep's clothing! ”
The situation there attracted everyone's attention fairly quickly. They could not help themselves from looking at Ye Lingchen. His harmless character, combined with the bald man's parting remarks, made everyone tremble and refrain from looking down on him.
Although the kid did not win much money, he was a formidable player who eliminated all 11 at the same time. Masters like Miyako might not even be able to do that.
Miyako glanced at Ye Lingchen too, but she quickly turned away and continued to win money.
Jin Heng looked at Ye Lingchen with great interest. He always knew that Ye Lingchen was something special considering the boy was invited over by Lu Tianxiong.
”Are you sure he doesn't know how to gamble?” Wei Hong also frowned slightly and asked Meng Jiu.
Meng Jiu did not give a direct answer. Instead, he looked at Ye Lingchen asked somewhat mockingly, ”Hey, why not come to our table to try?”
