He then continued, ”The one by his side is Huaqing University's vice principal, Principal Xu.”
It seemed that Capital University and Huaqing University put quite a lot of importance on this basketball competition as it also involved the vice principals.
”Ye'zi, look over there,” Beside him, Potato whispered to Ye Lingchen with a creepy perverted look.
Ye Lingchen followed the direction where he pointed, his focus unwittingly stuck to the sight.
There sat a girl in a red dress wearing a pair of black-rimmed glasses. An unusually quiet and peaceful sight in the rowdy stadium. She was holding a book, reading its pages. The image stuck out like a sore thumb in the surrounding scene.
She looked like a lily, gentle and peaceful.
That girl was the same person that Ye Lingchen ran into on his way here.
”How's that? Beautiful right!?” Potato winked at Ye Lingchen. ”She's the campus belle of Huaqing University and also a part-time lecturer! Her name is Xu Wanqing.
”Lecturer?” Ye Lingchen asked in surprise.
”Unbelievable right? It's very rare for a lecturer to be the campus belle.” Potato further explained, ”She graduated from Huaqing University last year. Due to her excellent performance, they had her stay back as a lecturer.”
”I've heard that she's a lecturer for advanced mathematics!” Xiang's eyes were glowing, then added, ”Advanced mathematics is the most boring class to begin with, and the truancy rate is over 50 percent. In her hands, the truancy rate not only dropped to zero, but they had an over-enrollment problem!”
”Yeah, she's too beautiful. Furthermore, her beauty is different from other girls. She carries the air of intelligence and beaut. Like a meandering stream, soothing the hearts of others.” Potato gave a rare poetic response.
”If she were my teacher, I can guarantee I'd pass advanced mathematics. Why is life so unfair!?” Little Gen joined in lamentations.
Apart from Ye Lingchen, countless eyes in the stadium glued themselves to Xu Wanqing, staring at her with eyes overflowing with a fiery passion.
Ye Lingchen nodded. With Xu Wanqing's beauty and personality, it was no surprise she could gain that much attention.
”Unfortunately she's a really studious person. She has no interest in other things. That was why she has not been in any relationship before,” lamented Xiang.
Xu Wanqing's obsession with academia was something that Ye Lingchen witnessed firsthand.
Right then, the stadium broke into an uproar just to see two teams entering the court from different directions.
It had begun!

”Zhao Ritian[1], I love you! Zhao Ritian, victory, victory, victory!”
That highlighted the importance of having the home-field advantage. Capital University's team was late during entry, causing a delay in their cheers. Furthermore, their cheering was no match for Huaqing University's. They were suppressed right from the start.
Capital University was led by He Yuan. He wore a basketball jersey and looked deadly serious.
Huaqing's team was, however, led by a tall slender student in a red jersey. His eyes were sharp, and a hint of a condescending smile could be seen at the edge of his mouth.
Normally, the two teams would start with a handshake and start the game in a friendly manner.
However, he ignored He Yuan and raised a tightly held fist at the Huaqing University side of the audience.
”Wah! Zhao Ritian is so handsome!”
”He's so cool! As expected of Zhao Ritiam!”
”Zhao Ritian, I won't wed anyone else but you, ahh ~~!”
”We're so winning this one! Huaqing will be victorious! Huaqing is the best!”
In an instant, Huaqing University's student went into an uproar. Screams broke out, and some were even standing tall, shouting passionately.
The audience on the Capital University's side had an ugly look. They glared at Huaqing University. If there was a measure, they would all be hitting their limit.
