Shi Qing had only known Qin Mo for a day, but one day was enough for him to know that this man was very quaint. However, even if you smashed his head in, he would still not have known how strange this man could really be!

Shi Qing was stunned, but at the same time, he felt a strange sense of joy bubbling up within him. As someone who could never hide his feelings, the corners of his lips began to turn up, up, and up again…

Equally shocked was Li Xia, but what he felt after he recovered from his shock wasn’t joy. It was an outright sense of humiliation!

The feeling of being toyed with, insulted, and mocked rushed up to his head, causing him to swell so much with anger that he stood up.

Li Xia’s anger rose to a breaking point in an instant.

His voice was filled with unconcealed anger. “What is the meaning of this?!”

Completely the opposite of him was the calm and composed Alpha. Qin Mo did not even bat an eyelid. He was seriously picking off the peppercorn on top of the pickled vegetable fish slice before putting it into Shi Qing’s bowl.

Only then did he say, “You will marry Ye Zhen and get pregnant, then have children as soon as possible.”

Li Xia was completely infuriated by his indifferent attitude. “Who wants to marry that pervert?!”

With one final nasty glare at the two, he threw down his final words, “Your Ye family has gone overboard with your bullying!”

Then, he kicked his chair away in anger and turned to leave.

Zijin Gardens was designed in an ancient Chinese style, so all the chairs were heavy wooden ones. Plus, as they were dining outdoors, there was no way the chair would be quiet when kicked to the ground by Li Xia so aggressively.

Qin Mo frowned and said with dissatisfaction. “His temper is too terrible.”

Shi Qing, “…”

But then, his brother spoke again, “But it’ll do. It’s fine if they can have children.”

Shi Qing, “…” He…He’s on his knees!

When he saw Shi Qing staring dumbly into space, Qin Mo asked, “Why aren’t you eating? Weren’t you hungry?”

Shi Qing looked down and saw the four delicate little bowls and plates in front of him.

There was a piece of sweet and sour pork rib, three clean slices of pickled fish, and a small piece of roasted eggplant and tenderloin.

…There wasn’t much, but they were all his favorites.

Most importantly, they were all sent to him bit by bit by Qin Mo.

Shi Qing felt like that big jar of vinegar inside of his chest had now turned into a puddle of honey.

So touched, so happy, also…the pickled vegetable fish is so good. The taste is awesome!

Seeing that Shi Qing had begun to eat, Qin Mo began picking out fish bones and peppercorns for him before passing over piece after piece of the freshest and fattiest bits of fish.

Shi Qing ate with much gusto. He liked fish and spice, so he loved this dish. Moreover, the craftsmanship at Zijin Gardens was first-rate. Even though it was a different time and space with different ingredients, the flavour fit his taste buds perfectly. It was so immensely good.

The fish was succulent while the pickled vegetables had a nice crunch. More importantly, it was numbing and spicy. He actually felt a buzz of warmth in his chest as he ate.

Actually, he felt warmth from the beginning, but it got even warmer, until now when things began heating up.

In addition, that heat seemed unsatisfied by just thrashing around in his chest. Gradually, it began to flow outwards at a fast pace. All his organs were enveloped by that heat, and following that, it was as if something was being liberated. The feeling was free and gratifying, like finally being able to breathe after wearing tight clothes for the whole day.

Shi Qing couldn’t help but marvel that the food here in Zijin Gardens really was high-end, that their food actually provided such miraculous effects. It had a good taste, a good texture, and not only was it feeling, it could also make his body feel so nice!

Huh…why was there no fish left?

Shi Qing looked up at his feeder, but in the next moment, he felt that something was wrong.

With a clack, the chopsticks fell to the table, colliding with the porcelain with a crisp noise. That didn’t wake Qin Mo at all.

Qin Mo stared motionlessly at Shi Qing, his black eyes deep, but he could see a hint of red within those depths.

In an instant, Shi Qing’s brain cells finally picked up the pace, and following that, cold sweat covered his body.

To hell with the magical fish, to hell with relief, he was indeed liberated, but what was fucking liberated was his Omega instincts that had been suppressed by inhibitors!

Why in hell did the inhibitors stop working now?

That’s not right…Inhibitors are effective for 24 hours. Shi Qing had only taken them this morning, and since it’s 12 at noon now, only six hours passed at the very most. There was eighteen hours to go, so how did it lose its effectiveness?

In the end, Shi Qing couldn’t care less about the reason. If the inhibitor didn’t work, then his identity as an Omega would be exposed. Just thinking about the unlucky Ye Xin made his scalp tingle.

The worst part was, he didn’t bring any inhibitors with him since there were more than ten hours left!
