The ratio of Alphas to Omegas was grossly disproportionate in the present day and age. According to reliable data analyses, they were outnumbered by a terrifying ten to one. That also meant that only one out of ten Alphas would be able to partner with an Omega, while the rest had to spend their days with a Beta. Or, they could even mess around with another Alpha.

The Ye family had always maintained their elite bloodline, and 90% of the offspring they bore were Alphas. It was rare for an Omega to appear. Every Omega born into their family would possess abnormally strong pheromones, and they were much more attractive than the average Omega.

The Ye family’s fourth son, Student Ye Xin, was a very attractive Omega.

Even though he had been raised carefully in the Ye family and always used his inhibitors, there were slips, such as when the wilful young master would complain about the disgusting taste of the inhibitors. Fortunately, nobody else was at home. In addition, considering how large the Ye family house was, he wouldn’t be able to attract any Alphas no matter how strong his pheromones were.

So, he secretly went without his inhibitors, and that was bound to lead him to a tragic outcome.

He underestimated himself. Even though it wasn’t his estrus period, the smell of his pheromones on a regular day was actually enough to distract the soldiers guarding the exterior of the Ye family house. Unable to control themselves, they snuck into the mansion and almost caused a huge disaster.

Since then, Ye Xin never dared to stop taking his inhibitors and brought them with him obediently wherever he went. Especially for such a big event as escaping from his marriage, he took all his inhibitors with him for fear that he would die on the streets as soon as he snuck outside.

However, he had only been gone for three days, how did he end up in that situation?

Shi Qing thought seriously about that question while receiving Ye Qing’s memories. In his memories, Ye Xin was wilful, but he was very independent, smart, and very resourceful. At the very least, Yye Qing felt that Ye Xin was much better than him.

Logic told him that Ye Xin wouldn’t do something as stupid as losing his luggage!

So, what on earth was going on?

After rushing towards the Loafel Region, Shi Qing finally understood what chaos was. Holy crap, it’s like a battlefield of wild beasts!

Also…This smell is intense!

Shi Qing couldn’t help but frown. The smell was choking even for him as an Omega, so he could imagine how crazy an Alpha could become.

Wait! He suddenly realized that Qin Mo didn’t have a fated pair, so how could he resist that fatal attraction?

He turned his head abruptly and saw Qin Mo standing there calmly.

Shi Qing wondered for a moment, but he quickly understood. That’s right, he took the suppressant.

A suppressant was a legitimate means of protection that every family utilized. Even if they are blood relatives, the natural attraction of Omega and Alpha did not go away, but incest was illegal and unforgivable. In order to avoid any unsavoury situations, families like the Ye family would administer suppressants for the Alpha sons specifically towards their brother’s pheromones so that they would not be affected by them.

The place Ye Xin was at was relatively remote without many people coming and going. Even so, at least a hundred or so Alpha had gathered, crowding the narrow streets and forming an impenetrable wall of people.

Shi Qing’s heart thumped. Could Ye Xin still be safe under such circumstances?

Immediately after that thought, he heard a scream, and then the strong smell of blood that was pouring out.

He quickly moved to higher ground and finally took a clear look at the situation.

Ye Xin was at the very center of the circle of crazed Alphas and his clothes had already been torn apart, revealing his fair skin like a tempting dessert. He was currently being held by a strong man who possessed a tall stature and cold eyes. The silver uniform of one of the Federation’s high-ranking officers he wore was slightly untidy at the moment, and what was even more eye-catching were the five stars on his shoulder. He was a high-ranking general!

He was one of the three high-ranking generals of the Federation, not to mention a powerful Alpha at the same time.

His eyes were already blood shot at that moment and his senses were beginning to go. Still, he still pursed his lips tight, forcefully holding back against the desire that was almost burning him as he held Ye Xin unsteadily with one arm while holding a broken blade in the other hand, slashing a bloody trail out from the pack of Alphas.

Those people were all citizens of the Federation so he couldn’t use deadly weapons. While the broken blade left a trail of blood everywhere, it wasn’t fatal. Unfortunately, it was because of that reason that he received a lot of attacks as well.

In the end, it was his persistence that kept Ye Xin safe.

Shi Qing was shocked, but Qin Mo had already begun moving. He rushed into the crowd with a taser in his hands. With precise movements, he knocked out over a few dozen Alphas in the blink of an eye.

Shi Qing also quickly came back to his senses and pulled out his non lethal taser, rushing into the crowd right behind him.

With the two of them helping, the more than a hundred Alpha were all subdued and the only one still conscious was the general holding Ye Xin.

After getting closer, Shi Qing was able to have a better look. The man had a very stout body that had clearly seen much training and exercise. He was very handsome and staid, but the wrinkles at the corner of his eyes revealed his age.

Thinking for a moment, Shi Qing quickly realized who he was. He had heard about that person from Ye Xin.
